Simply show your voucher at the counter, complete the registration process by taking a picture with your passport and WiFi device, and paying the security deposit. When you are ready to go home, simply return the device at the airport before checking into your flight. Make sure you don’t return the device late or you will forfeit your deposit!

  • There is a minimum 3 day charge
  • Day charges are calculated inclusively. For example, if you pick up the device on a Thursday and return it on a Monday, you will be charged for 5 days of usage
  • WiFi devices are usually available. In the rare event that all devices have been booked, you will be notified at least 1 day in advance by email
  • You will be charged for all the days that you are in possession of the WiFi device, whether or not you are using data
  • According to local policy, please present your passport and take a photo of you holding it at the Airport Service Counter when you pick up the device
  • A penalty will be charged for late returns (within 5 days) at CNY35 per day. Your deposit will not be refunded and the device will not be workable if it is returned later than 5 days
  • Customers will be liable for any damage/loss/theft of the device (up to CNY500). Please check the device carefully before leaving the service counter

  • Under the Fair Usage Policy, users who use large amounts of data in a short period of time might, without prior notice, have their data usage limited at the discretion of the telecommunications company they are subscribed to
  • Please refrain from watching videos for a long periods of time, or from using a huge amount of data in a short period of time
  • Operator will in no way be responsible or liable for the incurred data limit as per above, and you will still be charged with the appropriate fees during your rental period
How To Use

Pick Up Process:

  • Present your printed or mobile voucher at the Airport Service Counter
  • You will be required to take a photo holding your passport at the Airport Service Counter per local policy and regulations
  • Pay the CNY500 deposit (cash/Credit Card)
  • Receive the pocket WiFi device and start surfing! Check the first photo below for usage instructions

Drop Off Process:

  • Return the device to the Airport Service Counter
  • Pay for any extra days used (up to 5 days)
  • If you return the device after the 5 day limit, no deposit return will be made
  • Your deposit will be returned if the equipment is all returned in good condition and the router is returned within 5 days

Pick Up and Drop Off Locations:

  • Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (CAN) Departure Hall: Uroaming counter (next to luggage storage), Gate 8, Departure Hall, Level 3
  • Opening hours: 6:00am-6:00pm
  • Please make sure to drop off the device during the counter's opening hours or your deposit will not be returned

    We had a great time in korea, food was delicious and nami island is a nice place to relax and bond with your family.

    Network was really poor throughout the trip, reception was also turn off many time and we had no Wi-Fi connection. Would look for better alternative when we're back in Guangzhou

    Reantal wifi is available at airport terminal 1 . Pls be aware of this. Quite wasting battery and the line is not that stable actually. But maybe we have four people to share one wifi. You may try out the wifi which is more convenient when hang out.

    Every-time I visit Guangzhou, I make it a point to get this Klook pocket wifi. Sometimes it slows down but this okay to connect with Chinese people

    A convenient way to ensure connectivity in China. Further due to Mangkhut Typhoon, We were stranded in Guangzhou for another day as Baiyun International Airport was closed on 16 Sept 2018, Klook was really considerate for not charging us the extra one day usage due to unforeseeable circumstance.     For those who need more clarification on how to get to the pick-up booth; After exiting the arrival hall, head to the departure hall on level 3. Go to the F check in area, and from there you should be able to see the numbered gates which people people enter from the drop-off place outside. Search for Gate 8 as the pocket wifi booth is located directly opposite of it. Another clue is to look for the lost and found counter. The booth is nearby and visible from there. Be sure to have the right mobile apps that can be operated in China beforehand. Also, your phone may not readily connects to the wifi as soon as it is switched on for the first time. It took us quite a while before all of our phones finally receieved the wifi signal. And they may not be able to accept cash as deposit (which happened to us but luckily our guide was with us and she used her Wechat Pay instead).

    The problem is the counter is open from 6am and 11pm. Very inconvenient if your flight is early morning.

    Was pretty confusing to find but we figured it out. Asking people at the information desks where to pick this up was super unhelpful. They have no idea. From arrivals at terminal one go up the elevator to the 3rd floor departure hall. You will end up crossing over the street using the connecting bridge to the other side of the building. Go to the Gate 8 entrance of the departure hall that's to the left hand side after crossing the bridge. Find the baggage storage counter right across from the entrance and across from the travel center. The speed is great for the first 2GB but then it slows down to the point where I can't do anything. So was pretty disappointed by that. When I booked one of these for Taiwan and Japan, did not have this issue. On the other hand the battery life on this thing is pretty good.

    Tip: Don't forget to book the sim card in Klook separately. The 4G wifi only included the device with no sim card. We had to buy a sim card from the information desk at the arrival hall. Nevertheless, the device was easy to use and very efficient especially if you are a foreigner. Just don't forget to have a power bank on hand in case the battery gets low. P.S. You can get the device at the baggage storage near Gate 8 of the departure hall of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.
