What To Expect

Simply show your voucher at the counter, complete the registration process by taking a picture with your passport and WiFi device, and paying the security deposit. When you are ready to go home, simply return the device at the airport before checking into your flight. Make sure you don’t return the device late or you will forfeit your deposit!

  • There is a minimum 3 day charge
  • Day charges are calculated inclusively. For example, if you pick up the device on a Thursday and return it on a Monday, you will be charged for 5 days of usage
  • WiFi devices are usually available. In the rare event that all devices have been booked, you will be notified at least 1 day in advance by email
  • You will be charged for all the days that you are in possession of the WiFi device, whether or not you are using data
  • According to local policy, please present your passport and take a photo of you holding it at the Airport Service Counter when you pick up the device
  • A penalty will be charged for late returns (within 5 days) at CNY35 per day. Your deposit will not be refunded and the device will not be workable if it is returned later than 5 days
  • Customers will be liable for any damage/loss/theft of the device (up to CNY500). Please check the device carefully before leaving the service counter
International Fair Usage Policy
  • Under the Fair Usage Policy, users who use large amounts of data in a short period of time might, without prior notice, have their data usage limited at the discretion of the telecommunications company they are subscribed to
  • Please refrain from watching videos for a long periods of time, or from using a huge amount of data in a short period of time
  • Operator will in no way be responsible or liable for the incurred data limit as per above, and you will still be charged with the appropriate fees during your rental period
How To Use
  • You can present either a printed or a mobile voucher for this activity

Pick Up Process:

  • Present your printed or mobile voucher at the Airport Service Counter
  • You will be required to take a photo holding your passport at the Airport Service Counter per local policy and regulations
  • Pay the CNY500 deposit (cash/Credit Card)
  • Receive the pocket WiFi device and start surfing! Check the first photo below for usage instructions

Drop Off Process:

  • Return the device to the Airport Service Counter
  • Pay for any extra days used (up to 5 days)
  • If you return the device after the 5 day limit, no deposit return will be made
  • Your deposit will be returned if the equipment is all returned in good condition and the router is returned within 5 days

Pick Up and Drop Off Locations:

  • Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (CAN) Departure Hall: Uroaming counter (next to luggage storage), Gate 8, Departure Hall, Level 3
  • Opening hours: 6:00am-11:00pm
  • Please make sure to drop off the device during the counter's opening hours or your deposit will not be returned

    Don't be fooled by "unlimited". Once you use up the 500MB, data rate switches to 2G, crippling internet access to a crawl, unusable by today's standards. Make sure you don't reach the 500MB daily limit.

    Good for one to two person use. Can be slow at times due to the limited data per day. Can't access gmail or any U.S. related website. It is convenient for pick up and return. The description of collection has been changed to gate 8 instead

    My experience with wifi eggs booked on klook had been great, but not this one. It doesn't deserve a one-star from me. - Collection was pretty messed up as they changed the collection counter without any prior notice. Was supposed to pick up from the Arrival hall but was told to go Departure hall gate 8 instead. - It's supposedly 4G but felt like Edge, or worse. Loading an image takes forever. I had to rely on my sibling's roaming data most of the time. - The drop off counter was moved to the other end of the departure hall, again, without any prior notice. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone especially if you can't converse in mandarin, asking for direction would be a nightmare. You're better off getting a SIM card from the vending machine at the airport.

    Wifi quite fast and reliable internet service. Had a very hard time locating the booth of uroaming. Went to the baggage counter near A5 n was told by the lady she doesnt knwo anything about wifi router. Went back to information counter, n was told it is inside the arrival gate where we came out from and we cant go in again. Another guy in the counter kept on using my phone to check internet service and called the no. In the klook website and ending it after encountering answering service. Told him i was being charged international calls by using my philippine simcard and calling china no. Guess i will be charged more than the rental fee. So, we went back to check at A5 again and this time, there was a guy standing inside the baggage counter who said he just arrived. Apparently, they are just sharing a tiny space inside the baggage locker area and dont even have a signage except for a small paper sign on he desk! Wasted almost an hour looking for this router

    Rent for 3 days, battery can last long. The problem is the person in airport can't speak english, so if you can't speak english be prepared.

    It was their first time to rent out their wifi device, so there was a little bit of confusion. Good thing my friend can speak mandarin and she sorted it out. Returning was much faster. Wifi service was great. Over all experience, good.
