Blue Tears Experience with Boat Cruise at Kuala Selangor

Firstly i would like to give my sincere greatfulness and thankfulness on the timing. I didnt see my phone that they told me to be there by 6:15pm and i was a little late. They were so kind to wait for me and make sure i enjoy what i paid for. Very kind of them. Eagle feeding was one of the best things ever it totally exceeded my expectations. I would say the fireflies were kinda underwhelming as they were just stuck in the bushes and very few coming in to our boat to see up close. Still i would say it was a nice experience. The blue tears wasnt great at all cause couldn't see anything much at all la actually. But also keep in mind that the skies were too bright since full moon. So try ro time urself to go during a crescent moon or what to really see. Lastly i would like to say that, it was my first time having a night boat ride! How cool is that?! I have never been on a speed boat at night and the driver of the boat was such a nice old chinese uncle that was kind and fun. Overall, for the price this is something i would highly recommend to others. Thank you. Also im not sure qhy cant i upload videos as I have pretty nice ones.

everything was smooth. love the sunset. get to see the eagles and fireflies and some even come onboard with us on the boat. the moon was bright and sky was clear, so not obvious blue tears but it is there as we shook the net in board can see the luminescence. We did enjoy the beautiful night sky and stars.

Experience was worthwhile. There were a lot of eagles. Quite a lot of fireflies too. The blue tear was interesting

the instructor is good, however the blue is not that obvious, may need a good camera to capture

This is the first time I ordered a package through Lu Ke to take my family on this tour. I really enjoyed it. The beautiful scenery, responsible staff, and affordable packages were very enjoyable.

v cool experience, short 20mins but unique. will visit again to try out their other activities like eagle feeding. There are nwarby seafood restaurants that serve tasty food for reasonable prices about 10mins drive away. The bioluminescent phytoplankton looks more white to greenish to the naked eye but if you turn your camera's iso and shutter up will appear blue like in my pics! They were vv pretty, the boat captain gave each of us nets to stir the water to play with them. :D

There were more swallows than eagle during the feeding session. There were a lot of firefly. The blue tears were not very obvious. However, it was still an enjoyable experience. As the venue was quite far, we were scared that there were no grab at all. Nonetheless we still manage to book grab to and fro without facing much issue. You may also choose the company to arrange a driver for you but they will charge you 350rm for to and fro trip to KL which is more than twice we paid for grab.

we went when the brightness of the algae was pretty low, at 3/10 (we asked the guide) but i've never seen anuthing like it, and still enjoyed it the boat rode out with the wind in my face and lovely drinks from the amazingly furnished waiting area (aircon, payable refreshments, interior design) made the experience so much better getting a ride out from KL to this location was pretty daunting, we crossed from city to very small villages and it was approaching night, the grab driver also warned us about hitching a grab back would be near impossible, luckily the staff there were friendly and helped us get a private hire driver at the village back to our hotel (but it does not seem guaranteed)
