Bagan is definitely a must-go when you’re visiting Myanmar. It’s impossible to see all the monuments if you only have a day or two to explore the archaeological zone. It’s best to book this guided tour on your first day so you could visit the “major” sites and learn about the glorious history of Bagan from the guide. You can come back to the temples/pagodas you missed but really wanted to check on the second day on your own by hiring tuktuk. Lynn, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and helpful. He suggested the sites he thinks we should not miss and planned our itinerary in such a way that we could avoid the hoards of tourists. He also suggested the sites we should go check the next day if we still have time. He was not feeling well that day but still managed to give us an interesting and insightful experience.

It’s has been wonderful and awesome during the experience. The tour guide is extremely helpful and professional, but too many temples and pagodas to me. Also, please bring a pair of flip flop, you gotta take off your shoes frequently when you get into the temple, bring wet towel to clean your feet after that. I understand that there not much to do except seeing temples and pagoda in Bagan. The sunset was really extraordinary and impressive. Last but not least, you definitely should see the sun rise with the balloons too.

You may want to revise your itinerary. Sunset at Shwesandaw Pagoda is not available due to the earthquake back in 2016. Was scheduled for hotel pick up at 8am, but the guide arrived at 8.20+. According to her, the tour agency was told that the tour start at 8.30am, please sort them out between you and the agency on the mis-communication. Other than that, the tour was pleasant and informative. Thank you

The guide was kind and helpful, and the overall satisfaction was great. It's hot and you don't have to take lunch too long. Satisfied except that I was picked up late after lunch because the guide had a sudden accident. Bagan doesn't seem to need a guided tour.

It seems repetitive and boring if you keep visiting different temples and pagodas without much information. We are lucky to have a very nice and funny local speaking tour guide, where he took good care of us throughout the whole trip, and was very knowledgeable about the history, culture and even interesting story behind the spot. Highly recommended!
