The passes are really useful! Over 1.5 hours of waiting per attraction! With the passes: 5 to 10 minutes. The park is large and well-organized. Mario's World is the park's flagship area, even though it's very small. Remember to buy the wristband to be able to do everything.
I bought a pass because I have an elementary school-aged child, and when I got there, I realized how lucky I was to have bought it. The lines were incredibly long, especially for the Nintendo area and the Donkey Kong's Crazy Cart ride. It was so hot during the day that waiting would have been unbearable. I accidentally took the wrong subway in the morning, so I couldn't do an open run anyway. If you're not confident, definitely buy the pass. You're essentially buying time with money, saving your energy, and then using that energy to enjoy yourself. Haha. The Harry Potter zone is also incredibly well done, and the Forbidden Journey ride is truly moving. I've definitely caught the 'rides are on another level' bug!
an amazing experience. if you can afford the price express pass 8, get it for sure. exactly 2 months out from day of visit. we went on pretty much everything and waited no longer than 15mins in any line. It meant with a young child we had there was no long waits that may have potentially tainted an overall perfect experience. a bit of a tip- we went straight to Jurassic park and did the flying dinosaur without express because the lines hadn’t started to get busy, so we then were able to see jaws with the express pass later. it was in our sons words, the best day of his life so far. totally worth it.
the express pass is a definite NEED for USJ in my opinion. there is so much to try and explore, a 1 day pass might not even be enough to complete all the rides in USJ. maybe getting a pass 7 isn’t the best idea either as we found ourselves barely having any time to grab a snack or venture around the area. unfortunately, my experience in USJ was not the best as it was raining the entire day on 15 april, the bad weathed led to 2 of the most exciting rides being closed down (minecart madness & the flying dinosaur). the staff in USJ compensated us with 2 express tickets each that we could use on selected rides. additionally, some of the queuing systems in the USJ rides can be confusing, after entering the express pass lane, the queue will be merged into 1 big queue with the rest of the part visitors that do not have an express pass. i feel that, it was quite confusing and unfair for people who have paid extra for express passess. overall, i feel that getting an express pass is worth it.
Totally worth every penny. Universal Studios Japan was a magical experience that I'll take with me for the rest of my life. I was able to do ALL of the Super Nintendo attractions, plus The Flying Dinosaur, and several others. I focused on the timed entries first. Then, I went and got the rides that can be joined at anytime, and chose to get night rides for those, just to maximize the experience. The Flying Dinosaur is a different beast at night. There were other rides I got on that were not on the Express Pass, but for those, I utilized the Single Rider line, and managed to get them all! Over all, it was a magical, fun-filled day at the park that I'll never ever forget. Also got props from the Japanese for my Mario drip. Donkey Kong Country's Minecart Madness prob has the longest standby time without the pass, so it's worth it even just for that ride alone. 240min without! On a MONDAY, mind you. I got on in about 30 min with the pass. Buying through Klook you will get the timed entries
Okay. I felt a bit nauseous after the Harry Potter 4D experience. I was dizzy, but I couldn't miss it. However, I probably won't ride it again next time. Minions was quite fun. I also remember the Jurassic World ride, and Waterworld was memorable; if you sit in the front, you'll get soaked. I waited an hour for the Donkey Kong Express Pass. It seems like you need to go early and have plenty of time. I lost track of time. For food, I had Budae Jjigae outside, and the pizza inside wasn't good. The ice was frozen solid, only five pieces, and it was so hot that the trip was tough. A parasol is a must, and reapply sunscreen frequently. It's probably not great for people who don't like rides; I went because of the kids.
An absolute must-have for USJ! ​Booking both the Studio Passes and the Express Passes together on Klook made our day so much smoother. USJ gets incredibly crowded, so having the Express Pass for the two of us was worth every single penny. We skipped massive 2-hour lines and got straight onto the best rides, including Mario Kart and Harry Potter. ​Entering the park was seamless—we just scanned the QR codes on our phones at the turnstiles. If you want to maximize your day and save your legs, definitely buy the Express Pass ahead of time!
Buying the Express Pass 8 was so worth it! My husband and I enjoyed our day not queueing up in long lines and we went on all the rides we wanted to go to. It’s pricey but it’s worth every cent if you don’t want to waste time waiting.

  • To provide the best experience, guests will need an "Area Timed Entry Ticket/Standby Entry Ticket" to enter SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™
  • Download the Universal Studios Japan official app (iOS / Android) in advance to get an “Area Timed Entry Ticket”. However, availability is not guaranteed, especially during peak times. Onsite, you can only obtain a ticket after entering the park. It is recommended to purchase an Area Timed Entry Ticket in advance
  • Depending on crowd conditions, the distribution of “Area Timed Entry” may end ahead of schedule. You may be able to enter an area without an “Area Timed Entry Ticket/Standby Entry Ticket”
  • If you can't bind the ticket to the Universal Studios Japan app due to a system issue, don't worry—it's not mandatory

What are the differences between all packages?

Does this activity include studio pass?

No, this is an express pass,studio pass must be purchased separately.

When will I receive the voucher?

Instant Confirmation. You will receive the voucher in a few minutes.

I would like to purchase two express pass but I could only add one ticket.

This means that the remaining inventory is insufficient to allow two guests in the same time slots.

I want to take rides with my friends / families. How can I get express passes in the same timeslot?

Make sure you purchase Express Pass in the same order if you and your friends want to enjoy the rides together.(Only limited to the case of purchasing the same type of express pass) If there is not enough stock, the system will display sold out / no enough inventory.

I want to book an express pass three months from now, but it doesn't show up on the calendar

The calendar is available 2 months in advance. For example, on April 1st, tickets can be booked up to June 1st.

Why are USJ Express Pass prices more expensive/cheaper for different days?

USJ has a dynamic pricing policy for their Express Pass to manage crowd sizes on different days. The daily prices of the Express Pass will fluctuate based on pricing policies listed on the official USJ website.

Do children need to purchase express pass ticket?

Children over the age of 4 also need to purchase an Express Pass to use the special lanes. Please keep in mind:1. There are no discounted Express Passes for children. Express Passes for children are the same price as adults.2. Some attractions have additional minimum height requirements. Please be sure your child can meet the height requirements for the attractions you wish to visit before purchasing an additional Express Pass. Please check the official website for up to date details.

By holding the USJ Express Pass, can I ride/enter the listed attractions as many times as I want using the express lane?

No. You may only use the express lane once for each attraction listed in the Express Pass package. However, you may ride/enter the attraction again using the normal lanes, which will require waiting in line with non-Express Pass holders.

Can I enter the attractions using the Express Pass lanes any time I want?

It depends on the attraction. You can check the image under 'What to Expect' for the details.

Where can I redeem the Express Pass?

You do not need to redeem the Express Pass. Simply present the QR code on the USJ Express Pass to a crew member at the Express Pass entrance of the attractions. Please note that this is the QR code on the printed USJ Express Pass, as well on the Klook e-voucher.

Does the price of the Universal Studios Express pass include tax?

Yes the tax is included.

Why did klook cancel my express pass?

Confirmed bookings will not be cancelled. However, before the booking is confirmed, the ticket may not be issued due to system abnormality or stock out. At that time klook will cancel and process your refund.

One of attractions is closed on my participation date. Can I request for refund?

No, Passes cannot be amended or refunded despite attractions may ceasing operations/shows being canceled. If the attractions selected are not in operation, please youcan choose another attrations as an alternative (not including time-designated attractions).

The admission time for the attractions is not written on the voucher.

For attractions without a designated admission time, please enjoy it once, anytime on your participation date.

What should I do if there is little time between two attractions?

Kindly follow the designated timeslots for your selected attractions. If the interval between 2 attractions is short, it is recommended to proceed to the next attraction promptly after finishing the previous one. Some flexibility is allowed in such cases
