We had a wonderful experience on the "Sanora" with Pa and Dong as our captain and crew. The guys did everything possible to make our experience a memorable one. We charted this boat as a couple however you could fit a family of five on it for the day. The guys took us to three different swimming spots and a very unique lunch spot on the island on Koh Phangan. The crews English and willingness to share there story's and knowledge of the area make the trip much more personal than going on a big boat with many.
When we (my wife, two children and I) stayed in Ko Samui we booked a two-day sailing trip to Ko Phangan with Samui Ocean Sports. This sailing trip was one of the highlights of our vacation in Thailand and everything was just perfect and as expected: Very nice classical sailing yacht (Sanora) in excellent condition, perfect sailing weather, excellent food, great beaches and enough time for snorkeling and swimming stops along our way. Since I am interested in sailing I was particularly happy to take the helm for most of the trip. At night, we had the opportunity to sleep on the boat or in beach huts. We chose to stay on the boat and enjoyed it. The yacht had enough cabin room for my family while the skipper slept on deck. Our skipper was the German owner of Samui Ocean sports and we enjoyed it a lot. Being in Ko Samui for many years he had a lot of stories to tell and good tips for our further stay in Ko Samui. All in all a trip, that was worth its money.
