  • There is a minimum 3 day charge
  • Day charges are calculated inclusively. For example, if you pick up the device on a Thursday and return it on a Monday, you will be charged for 5 days of usage
  • WiFi devices are usually available. In the rare event that all devices have been booked out, you will be notified at least 1 day in advance by email
  • You will be charged for all the days that you are in possession of the WiFi device, whether or not you are using data
  • According to local policy, please present your passport and take a photo of you holding it at the Airport Service Counter when you pick up the device
  • A penalty will be charged for late return (within 5 days) at CNY35 per day. Your deposit will not be refunded and the device will not be workable if it is returned later than 5 days
  • Customers will be liable for any damage/loss/theft of the device (up to CNY500). Please check the device carefully before leaving the service counter

  • Under the Fair Usage Policy, users who use large amounts of data in a short period of time might, without prior notice, have their data usage limited at the discretion of the telecommunications company they are subscribed to
  • Please refrain from watching videos for a long periods of time, or from using a huge amount of data in a short period of time
  • Operator will in no way be responsible or liable for the incurred data limit as per above, and you will still be charged with the appropriate fees during your rental period

    picked up in Shanghai, worked well in Suzhou but not in Hangzhou at all! Ended up i signed up roaming with my service provider!

    The signal is very great and it have nice speed. The battery also allow you for one day usage. l'll order this wifi service for my next trip.

    I’m a loyal buyer from Klook and this is the first time I’m giving a bad review. This is the worst pocket wifi I’ve ever purchased. The connection was really poor not to mention its battery life as well. I was actually hesitant at first to purchase one because I’ve read a few negative reviews about it but since I’ve never experienced any problems with Klook, I gave it a try. True enough I had a hard time navagating within the city because of its poor connection. It’s annoying because I had to rely on the hotel’s wifi. I’m not so sure if it’s the pocket wifi or the connection in Shanghai is just really bad. Regardless, this purchase wasn’t just worth it.

    Convenient location to pick up and return the pocket WiFi unit. Only downside is the hassle to leave 500RMB deposit. Please note that you can’t access Google, Youtube, WhatsApp, Facebook as well as Waze and Google map. Also, limited access to viber. I used apple map to go around the city.

    On my 2nd day stay in Shanghai out of the 6 days planned visit and I'm already very frustrated with the poor service received. It is a challenge to navigate within the City as a first time traveler without any form of map or translation app. My choice of map is Google maps as im familiar with it. Knowing that google is banned in china i downloaded VPN to make it work. It is absolutely a pain since connection is very bad to begin with compounded by the need to use VPN makes it useless. I don't know if this is because of the area where i'm staying or if mine is just defective, either ways it has made my stay a lot more difficult than necessary. Attached 2 pictures for the 1st and 2nd day.

    When i travel, i always rent pocket wifi, and this is the worst pocket wifi here in shanghai.... aside from its slow data service , its signal is erratic. Am using the free wifi of the hotel at the moment

    easy pickup from pudong airport, i agreed with some reviews that they do entertain chinese speaking customers first. however i felt unless you use a superb VPN master, the device is abit useless. In china, you cannot use any google link apps even games.

    It is easy to find as it is between entrance/exit 22 and 23 of the departure hall. You'll see the blue one. I just hate it when all of their credit card terminals were not working. I used all of my cards and none of them worked. I then had to leave 500 cyn cash for the deposit. After that I used my card in another store and it worked. And the attendants were like *****. So inefficient. And the connection is wonky. Too bad.

    Redemption booth is at the Departure Area, between gates 23 and 24. The attendants on the booth do not speak English. Internet speed is not very fast, especially if you are using VPN (which you must download prior to going to Shanghai because almost everything is blocked there, including Google).
