Reviews summaryThe Singapore River Cruise by WaterB was a fantastic experience! The boat was comfortable, and the views of Marina Bay, Clarke Quay, and the city skyline were stunning. It was a relaxing way to explore Singapore’s history and landmarks. Highly recommend for both tourists and locals!
Managed to finally use the SG Culture Pass and had an enjoyable time with lesser crowds, perfect weather (post rain) and great company. The views were amazing and never knew we could see Singapore's skyline from a different POV in the waters.
We took a boat ride on the Singapore River. The boarding point was at Water B, near Fort Canning Park. We bought tickets for four people (parents and two children) through Klook, which saved us almost 400 baht compared to buying them on-site. I recommend checking the weather before purchasing tickets in advance to ensure it's suitable for a boat trip. Luckily, on the day of our 6:30 PM cruise, the sky was clear, there was no rain or harsh sun, and a cool breeze made for a very pleasant experience with beautiful views.
just loved the 45 minutes at sunset cruising the river. very relaxing. comfortable and information and educational. my wife and I must have shot a hundred pictures each. great place for memorable experiences. we did the round trip from Clarke quay and a wonderful dinner there after concluding our tour.
The overall boat tour experience was great. We arrived around 6 PM to book the 7:40 PM cruise, hoping to catch the Marina Bay light and sound show from the boat. However, the boat operator said there would be an additional charge of 12 Singapore dollars per person for this specific time slot, and that the fee was non-refundable if the cruise was canceled due to rain. Since we were already there, we decided to take the risk and pay the extra charge. We had dinner nearby and came back later, but around 7 PM, it started pouring rain, which was disheartening. By 7:50 PM, the rain had subsided, so we went to check if the cruise was still running. We managed to catch the boat just as it was about to depart and quickly hopped on board. The entire cruise was amazing, with stunning night views and a panoramic vista of the beautiful Marina Bay.
location: along SG river. the tickets claim at the counter was easy and fuss-free.took the 8pm ride, can the lightings, kids had fun! experience:enjoyable ride
it was a great experience wandering around singapore city riding in a barge and enjoying the progressive yet conserve place. i also loved the videos showing pictures of old singapore, while narrating it's history
FYI: we boarded in Fort Canning. Had a delightful experience! This is easily one of the best ways to catch Singapore’s main sights without exhausting your feet, and you'll be able to see major landmarks like Marina Bay Sands, the Merlion, the Fullerton Hotel, and Parliament House in a smooth 40-minute roundtrip. It’s perfect for tourists short on time who want to skip the hassle of walking or navigating public transit between scattered historical spots in the heat. It also has an informative onboard commentary. If you want maximum sightseeing value in a short window, this is totally worth the money, especially around sunset!
I booked this activity the same day for my mom and glad I did. Seeing Singapore during the evening cruise was such a delight. Highly recommended.
We only booked this as a back up plan but the river cruise was the icing on top of the cake of our Singapore trip. It’s the closure you never knew you needed before heading home. I highly suggest booking this on your last day.
