Reviews
Chansip was a very knowledgeable guide. He took his time to share his in-depth knowledge about the history, culture and background of the places we visited including the surrounding areas that we passed through. The Tuk Tuk driver (didn’t catch his name) was also good and it was a very comfortable ride.
As a group tour was not completed, they offered me a private tour with Tong, which was excellent, he explained a lot of history to me and answered all my questions, highly recommended, with water and cold towels, a lot of history in the city and at the end they take you on a tour of artisans from there, which shows you how the very impressive crafts are made.
I had my guide: mr.Tola picked me up at the hotel. wonderful guide with fluent English and very punctual. lucky for me, there was only 1 more joining the tour and we felt like a Private ones. trip was full with information, enjoyable and was fully explained clearly by Tola. cool water bottle and wet towels were well prepared throughout the tour.. I hope mr Tola will be my guide for future tours when I come visit Siam Reap in the future.
Our guide was very energetic and a good communicator. She made sure everyone on the tour had a good time. She took good pictures too. This quick tour was worth it if you want to explore the city and its history.
Our tour started at 8am. There were 3 of us. So the tour became a private tour with 1 guide,1 driver,on a tuk tuk. We visited the Cambodian Vietnam War memorial first, then we were taken to Angkor National Museum. Entrance not included in the tour. We paid USD 12 for adults and USD6 for children. This was the highlight of the tour. Spend at least 2 hours here. You will get a crash course in Hinduism and Buddhism, and learn Khmer history. Then we were sent to a Buddhist temple War Bo. There is a mural inside that explains the events in Budha's life. Our guide explained everything. Then the next stop was Artisan de Angkor where we saw live demonstration of woodcarving ,stone carving and weaving. Next stop we were sent to Made in Cambodia market, missing out on old market your. Overall it was a memorable tour. Thanks to our guide.
It is a 5-star experience. Our guide - Kimsea was amazing. He was able to recommend other tourist spots when we decide not to go to one in the list. We learned so much things about Buddhism and the culture of Cambodia.
Joined the half day City tour (from My Pro Guide) with 2 others tourists. We rode on a tuk tuk which is a nice experience. Our English speaking guide, Tong, messaged me before the tour to provide key information. The tour is leisurely, giving us ample time to take photos. We visited the Memorial Monument, the Angkor National Museum (pay for ticket), the Royal Palace, a monastery, Artisan D'Angkor and finally Old Market Area. Tong was able to provide good explanations about the places we visited. A good tour to do to see a different side of Siem Reap other than just temples.
The operator was able to fix some problem which ended up with me having upgraded to a private tour. Thank you very much! The tour was informative and educational. My tour guide, Tong is able to answer my questions well. While it is true that you can visit these places on your own, I recommend this for people like me who wants to understand further the places through a guide.
This tour is highly recommended to tourists visiting Siem Reap for the first time. We had a chance to discover the country's rich history and culture. Thank you to Mr. Tong, our guide, for making us feel so welcome. He was also very open to our inquiries and would do his best to address them. This may be a half-day tour, but it is well worth it.
I had a wonderful City Tour experience in Siem Reap. I was also lucky enough to have a kind and very knowledgeable tour guide, Mr Ron Roem. He told us stories and history of Cambodia!🇰🇭
