Koh Tao and Koh Nangyuan Speedboat Day Tour
- Spend a day at the tiny islands of Tao and Nangyuan, home to amazing shallow reef snorkeling
- Choose the speedy transport option on the speedboat for the most exhilarating way to travel
- Enjoy breakfast before departure and lunch buffet on Koh Tao
- Travel with ease as hotel transfers are included to and from the pier
What to expect
Renowned for cerulean waters, colorful coral reefs and a myriad of vibrant fish, the small islands of Koh Tao and Kho Nangyuan provide excellent snorkeling day trip locations, away from the tourist crowds of neighboring islands. Begin the day with a convenient hotel pick-up and a pre-departure breakfast on the pier. Exploring the azure waters will work up an appetite for a beachside restaurant lunch before hopping back on board and heading to the emerald bays of Koh Nangyuan. Here you'll get the chance to explore the shallow reefs of one of Thailand's best snorkeling spots. As the day starts to cool, travel ashore to make the 10-15 minute hike to the viewpoint offering spectacular views of the sandbar-linked island below. Enjoy a swift boat ride back to Samui and a return to your hotel.

Insider Tips:
- A day on the water means spending a lot of time in the sun so don't forget sunscreen, a hat and a t-shirt that can get wet to protect your back if you'll be doing a lot of snorkeling

The team took excellent care of us. The tourist attractions were beautiful. *You should definitely wear a swimsuit/diving suit because snorkeling/diving is the first activity (don't miss snorkeling/diving at Koh Tao; the underwater scenery is incredibly beautiful! We were lucky enough to see a turtle too). If you want to wear nice clothes for photos, bring a change of clothes. Most importantly, don't forget to bring sunscreen because it's very hot. I highly recommend this trip! They truly treated us like princesses.😊 The team took so many great photos for us, and they were beautiful too.
We had a wonderful experience on this full day trip! There were 3 snorkelling spots and our guide (Ken) guided us very well and even during at the snorkeling spots. The views were amazing and we got to see amazing corals and fishes. There was a breakfast provided at the pier before the journey started but quite modest (bread, spreads, tea and coffee). The lunch was quite delicious after the long swims and a buffet setup. I would highly recommend this trip!
It was a wonderful and exciting journey! The weather was nice in the morning but it suddenly changed in the afternoon. There were strong winds and rainstorms. However, it was lucky that we still got the chance to snorkel in the afternoon!
We did the tour with Ruang Sri crew. very helpful staff. they were diligent to take care of everyone during the ride. the watwr was very choppy during the onward trip. thanks to the staff they provide puke bags, ice, tips to feel better. i am a non swimmer and the tour guide helped to take me personally on float board to swim in sea water during the snorkelling session
Highly recommended. Overall is very good. The tour guide takes good care of us. Therefore, I could take lots of underwater pictures and videos. If you go there alone, there's no need to worry because they could help you take pictures.
love it! good experience. staff are bery helpful. the captain did great job on controlling the speedboat even though it’s a high wave day. the lunch was buffet and tasty. overall i really love it!
1. What to bring: Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, towel, aqua shoes, snacks, cash (entrance fee, maybe some snacks to eat on the island?) 2. How to book: Klook (Recommended travel agency: grand sea pier=grand sea discovery) 3. How to enjoy: - After booking, they will pick you up at your hotel. - Just pack your things and enjoy snorkeling, trekking, etc. according to the schedule. - They will pick you up early in the morning, so if you're hungry, they will provide a simple breakfast for free at grand sea pier (bread, coffee, drinks) 4. Review: - I've been to both Ang Thong and Koh Tao/Nang Yuan, and I was satisfied with both. - Koh Tao and Nang Yuan offer plenty of leisurely snorkeling and relaxing on the beach. - Ang Thong has the advantage of offering various activities like snorkeling, trekking, and kayaking, while Koh Tao and Nang Yuan offer leisurely snorkeling and the beach, making them more relaxed and comfortable, so they were both great. - You can rent snorkeling equipment, but there is a fee if it is lost. The equipment is well managed, so you can use it without worry. - I visited in February, and it was a bit chilly when I moved to the boat and after snorkeling. I think it would be good to bring a towel or long sleeves. - Not only the captain, but all the Grand Sea Discovery staff members who were with me were friendly. They took pictures as a basic, provided drinks and water, and even checked for seasickness. I was so grateful and I still want to go back. I highly recommend you give it a try!
Tour was very well-organized. Explaining in details verything that the tourists need to know including beach rules.
Thanks to the crew, we ran out of heavy rain when we were coming back to Samui Island!!
These photos barely capture the incredible time we had on this trip. From start to finish, it was both enlightening and genuinely enjoyable. A special thanks to Jeff-an outstanding tour guide who didn't just take us to breathtaking snorkeling spots, but actually joined us in the water to share the experience. Master Jeff, you rock! In addition food and equipment were also really good!
