Traunsee Lake Cruise, Hallstatt and Salzburg Day Trip from Vienna

Thanks to our guide, ILIR😁 He was super friendly and really went out of his way to make everyone feel comfortable and looked after. Also he took portrait photos of everyone during the trip and actually printed them out for us to keep as souvenirs! It was such a sweet surprise ^_^ Throughout the day, ILIR was always there to help, and if you wanted, you could even walk around the city with him to explore more hidden spots or restaurants haha! Big thanks to ILIR!

It is a one-day trip very suitable for people who travel independently. The tour guide will pick you up directly at the hotel entrance, which is very convenient. The driver Samuel is very nice and will always ask if you want to help take pictures. He is a very considerate driver and tour guide👍

Our itinerary seemed to be combined with a day trip to Melk, Salzburg, and Hasselt, so we didn’t go to the Wachau and another attraction that were originally included in the itinerary 😅😅 But the whole day was still very good, mainly because the local tour guide Matuš was very attentive and had excellent driving skills. When we passed a ski resort on the way, he even stopped to let us see the scenery! 👍Salzburg and Hasselt would be more beautiful if you come in spring or autumn! Overall it’s pretty good!

Our guide Ansh was very helpful throughout the whole journey, he walked us around the main tourist spots. Overall it made our trip very enjoyable and comfortable! 🫶🏻

If you are traveling independently and do not plan to stay overnight in Hallstatt or Salzburg, we strongly recommend that you join Klook’s group tour, which has a high CP value. The driver and tour guide Samuel is a cool and considerate handsome guy. After each attraction, he will ask everyone what they think and help tourists take photos. Before participating, you may wish to do some background knowledge on Melk Abbey, Salzburg (the birthplace of Mozart), and Hallstatt. I believe that you will have a deeper understanding of the journey.

If you were to choose a value-for-money program visiting 3 places in 1 day without having to drive or transfer between vehicles hassle-free, we would recommend this. However, if you want to immerse yourself in each location, with service and guidance including being shown the highlights and provided with information, we do not recommend buying this tour. It's a join tour where some programs are not available and are replaced by a church. Each stop is approximately 2 hours. You have to travel to the highlights yourself because they only drop you off in the center and let you walk around freely. There are no snacks or entrance tickets as written. We recommend looking at other program.

If you are traveling independently and do not plan to stay overnight in Salzburg, I recommend that you take this tour. The tour guide Adil & felicitator Dorcas were really considerate and knowlegable. After each attraction, he will ask everyone what they think and help tourists take photos. We had to change the itineary due to some travel retrictions in Halstatt but the alternate options were also good.Before participating, you may wish to do some background knowledge on Melk Abbey, Salzburg (the birthplace of Mozart), lakes around. Pls note that this is only uselful If you do not wish to have a submersive view of these places as you'll only see the main attractions.

Suggesting that “tour” guide really do their job. they just talked while inside the bus and when we arrive at the places based on itinerary, they just let us do our own thing and just meet at a specified place and time. no snacks provided as detailed in the package. hoping they can improve better. thanks!
