Thai village was far from the city. we took bts from Nana to Bang wa. then took a taxi to go there.Meter shows 205 Baht when we reached there. We took afternoon show. We took buffet lunch & it was tasty. Restaurant attendants were very helpful. After that we attended the activities. me & my child enjoys the activities very much. But they only allow once for one activity. My child wanted to do twice but they did not allow. Elephant ride was enjoyable, they took 120 baht per person for that. we enjoyed the show very much.

What To Expect

Explore Thailand’s diverse artisanal culture on a visit of Sampran Riverside where you will get to attend 12 Thai arts and crafts workshops including silk processing, traditional pottery, bamboo dancing and so much more! Escape busy Bangkok and spend the day in a peaceful 70 acre attraction - just 1.5 hours away from Thailand’s bustling capital. Formerly known as Rose Garden Riverside, the area is home to a botanical gaden, a large Chinese pagoda and even elephant grounds. However, Rose Garden (as it is often referred to by the locals) is most famous for its authentic Thai Village offering daily workshops and a performance that is known as "longest running cultural show in Thailand". Here, you can experience Thailand's unique culture first hand. Both fun and informative, the workshops are conducted under the guidance of professionals letting you take the most out of each and every activity. The village is great, but it's quite far from Bangkok. We took BTS to Bang Wa to avoid traffic, it remains takes at least one hour more from Bang Wa to the village. Except the traffic thing, the whole experience in the village is great! we don't have enough time to experience all workshops but those we attended were great, people are always dimples and will to show you one step by one step. The afternoon show was a must go, super cool.

This park is a bit far away from bangkok. The park is great, you can experience different tradition thai activities like bamboo dance, flower arrangement and thai boxing etc. The show is good. For the food, not many choices, but still taste good. I would say it is more suitable for family with children, but overall experience is good.

loved the backdrop of the lunch buffet although food choices were not a lot.. enjoyed the traditional pottery workshop where we were taught how to mold an elephant :)
