Taipei : Private Hot Spring Room Public Bath at Radium Kagaya Hotel

VERY highly recommend this for couples visiting the area! We visited a public hot spring earlier in the week, so we appreciated the privacy of this visit. Lunch was delicious, and our servers were delightful! We booked this for our last full day, which I would also recommend. Days of hiking, night markets, and busy tourist areas melted away in the hot spring.

As soon as we arrived at the door, a kimono-wearing staff member took us to the elevator, and we successfully completed registration and entered the room. There were compartments for the toilet, rest area, shower and hot spring bath. The environment was clean and the details were large and comfortable. The hot spring bath also had two beds. There is no problem at all, and there is a window to the outside. It is very comfortable to soak in. After soaking, there is a rest area with barley tea to take a rest. It is a very relaxing short trip.

The service staff are very kind, and the explanations on how to use the naked bath are very clear. The environment is very clean. The foot bath is very comfortable. Friends can chat together. The women's bath can see the outdoor mountain scenery. The bathing supplies are very complete, so you don't need to carry anything. , take a relaxing bath. The hotel stipulates that mobile phones should be placed in the shoe area upon entering. There is a dedicated place for mobile phones in the lockers, which is very considerate and protects customer privacy. 👍

Kagaya's service quality is unparalleled. Book in advance and ask customer service to inform the hotel to try to arrange the preferred hot spring room type. Although the event page shows that it cannot be specified, with the help of customer service, Kagaya arranged for us to have a marble hot spring room, indoor It is spacious and has a TV and separate toilet as well as towels, toiletries, hairdryer, etc. Kagaya will call us ten minutes before arrival at 90 minutes to remind us to prepare in advance! It’s such a treat to relax in the hot spring on this cold day! The interior decoration has a very Japanese atmosphere, I recommend it to everyone ~

Room and amenities were good. The lunch was excellent too. It's just that I don't think they use spring water for the private hot spring. I've been to many hot springs and they do not wrinkle my skin at all no matter how long I soak. but for the private hot spring here it feels like they just use regular water so my skin gets wrinkly within 5min of soaking.

We made a reservation to start bathing in the hot springs at 1 o'clock. There was no one at this time, so it seemed to be a reserved area. We played until four o'clock and then left. There are all facial cleansing and facial cleansing products here, so you can go directly to the hot springs without bringing anything. There are two massage pools, one of which is hotter. There is also a steam room, which would be worth it if the price were even.

Taking my mom to the hot springs was a wonderful experience. It's very close to Xinbeitou Station, within walking distance. After enjoying the hot springs and some snacks, it was lovely to stroll around the nearby area.

The service of the hot spring hotel is very good. Once you arrive at the hotel door, there will be a valet parking person, and then a waiter will lead you to the lobby check-in. The hot springs and lunch were both great, and the family was very satisfied☺️The service was traditional Japanese service, and someone would bow to us when we left and watch us leave❤️

beautiful japanese themed hotel, go to lvl 2 to front desk and inform of booking and staff will bring you to lvl 5 where the private rooms are. room has all toiletries you need and is very clean. there is buckwheat tea near lift as well as sitting area. very near walk to mrt as well, will definitely visit again next time to taipei!
