I had the privilege of having Sayon as our tour guide during our visit to Angkor Wat, and I must say, he exceeded all expectations. Sayon is not only incredibly knowledgeable about the rich history and culture of Cambodia, but he also shares it with a deep sense of pride and patriotism that makes the experience even more meaningful. What truly sets him apart is his warm personality and high emotional intelligence—he instinctively knows how to make every guest feel seen, heard, and well taken care of. Sayon goes above and beyond to ensure everyone is comfortable and engaged throughout the tour. His professionalism, kindness, and genuine hospitality make him one of the best guides I’ve ever encountered in all my travels. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Angkor Wat! 🫶🏻✨
This tour is worth joining to get to know about the history & religion of Ang Kor Wat and the other temples. The other temples visited had their own special features which was very informative. Our tour guide, Mr Sayon, is very helpful in explaining the culture, religion and history of the temples. He also pointed out to us nice spots to take photos and helped us to take nice pictures.
Mr. John, our tour guide very knowledgeable and shared history of Cambodia and the temples. Tour guide was also very helpful. Temples were MAJESTIC AND AWESOME. Pick-up was on time. We had our lunch at Ta Keo Khmer Restaurant, approx 6usd per meal.
Our tour guide, Nick (Cambodian name Kosal), showed us around. We visited four ruins, and the explanations were easy to understand, and the photos he took at each spot were perfect, so I'm really glad I participated in this tour! We were given plenty of time to look around, so we were able to look around at our own pace. Every time we returned to the van, we were given cold water and moistened towels, and the trip was very comfortable. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience! It was my first time in Cambodia, but I definitely want to come back!!
The whole tour was very fun. Our tour guy and his driver were really good at bringing our atmosphere to keep upbeat. In addition, he could be efficient and recommended us the best spot to enjoy each temples which also explained in a very deep and well-structured story telling. Thank youu
Mr John and his driver made us feel comfortable throughout the tour. Mr John is an excellent tour guide with deep knowledge of the history of Angkor Wat and the other temples. He is quite humorous and is always helping us with taking photos. The weather is hot for us. Everytime we got on the tour van after each stop, we were personally handed cold water bottle which was much needed. Highly recommended.
The tour with guide Mr.Sayon was the best. Not only the three major temples, but also two more temples were explained in more detail and guided. When they picked me up in the morning, the air-conditioned bus came to pick me up on time and the driver was kind. It was a trip of two with my mom, and I think it will be a memory I will never forget. It must have been difficult because the schedule was from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., but guide Sayon was a kind and caring person. I laughed a lot and enjoyed the tour by giving sweet and witty remarks to not only us who received the guide, but also to everyone who came to the temple. Thank you for his kind and polite behavior. It was nice that he explained about the temple in the middle and gave me a free time to take a walk and take pictures. He also took a pretty picture. Thank you so much.
Our tour guide walk us through in the past - history of Angkor Wat, the mystery beneath it arouse lots of thought and imagination on how temple were built in early 12 century by Khmer kingdom, a lot of new fact discovery on Khmer empire and Bas relief scenes of Hindu stories. Like Mr. Narith’s humorous and interesting way of presenting it.
The guide was fantastic. He was very funny and informative. We were lucky to get a small group of 12 people for the day and had good weather to see all the temples listed. Lunch was at a local restaurant and the price was around 6USD for the food but it was really delicious. Also had an hour after lunch to lie on hammocks and rest from all the walking in the morning which was nice.
The tour is super worth it! Our tour guide is very accommodating and generous in sharing his knowledge about the places and he’s good in taking pics. Highly recommended!
