What To Expect

Taipei is a city bursting with life and what better way to explore some of its most popular landmarks than a 23 stop tour that is offered along two double decker bus routes? Your tour will start off at Taipei Main Station. You will then travel to Ximen, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, and depending on which color line you take, you will discover different landmarks. Take the blue line to visit places in the north, such as the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, National Palace Museum, and JianTan. On the red line, you will travel west to Taipei City Hall, Sun Yet Sen Memorial Hall, and the largest park in Taipei, Da'an Park. Choose to hop off at any stop for sightseeing, and hop back on when the next bus on the schedule arrives. You will be provided with a headset that offers introduction to Taipei in English, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. The staff aboard the hop on and hop off bus were very friendly and helpful which is a must for tourists! In the morning,we were 20 minutes earlier than the boarding time. At first. We were told to wait but then the bus driver and lady bus stewardess made us enter because it was too way hot outside. Then the lady gave us a map and wrote down fiurther drawings and instructions for is to surely teach our destination.then on our way to Taipei 101 , there was a sudden heavy downpour,.much to my surprise, we were given plastic raincoats! Sweet! Thankyou Klook for letting us experience the Hop on Hop off Bus in Taiwan.

It was really convenient for us since we are all first-time travellers here in Taiwan. We did not have to worry how we can get to the tourist spot without getting lost. The driver and the crew were very accomodating and considerate. Our 4-day pass already expired for few minutes when we went inside the bus but they still let us in to stop by at Taipei 101. :-) Super great experience!

The bus att3ndants are very nice and pretty. If doing a tour, i suggest the whoe the pass rather than the 4 hours pass.

We only used the bus from Ximen->National Memorial Park->National Palace Museum->Ximen->Taipei 101. It was raining heavily so we only had some few stops. Wifi signal is very good

Great way to see Taipei within the city. You have to choose between the red and blue line. Buses had an audio guide in various languages to explain the main stops.
  • Marianne*** 17 Jun 2017
There are two routes, the blue and red lines. Both are good to join. But take the blue line first if you want to go to National Palace Museum. The places are awesome! The driver and lady are so helpful. We enjoyed our tour so much! Thanks, Klook!
