What to expect
Simply make your booking online and enjoy delivery of your rail pass voucher straight to your door in Taiwan or easy pick up from Hong Kong Airport. Redeem your voucher for a rail pass when you're in Japan and be ready to explore all of Shikoku. For your choice of 3 to 7 days, visit all four prefectures that make up Shikoku for some of Japan's best and most breathtaking views. Start off with Kagawa Prefecture and make a stop by Shikoku's msot popular shrine, Kotohira, or appreciate modern art at the small island of Naoshima. Next, head to Ehime Prefecture for Masuyama, a traditional castle still left standing in the largest city of Shikoku. Heading down south, you will end up in Kochi Prefecture, a little city with a southern flair. Last but not least, Tokushima Prefecture features both mountainscapes and the Ōnaruto Bridge where you can witness spectacular whirlpools. Booking guidelines
- The name, country of residence, and passport numbers entered when booking must be an exact match to the passports used when boarding
- This pass is for non-Japan residents only. You must currently be staying in a different country for 6+ months and provide proof of residence (visa/residence card) and proof of citizenship (passport)
Pass eligibility
- This offer is not available for Japanese passport holders
- Children aged 0-1 can travel free of charge
- Each paying adult can bring a maximum of 2 children (aged 1-5). A child ticket will be required for each additional child
- Valid only for non-Japanese passport holders with a "Temporary Visitor" Visa stamp on the passport. Non-Japanese passport holders with a permanent residence in Japan cannot use this product
- Secure a Temporary Visitor Stamp at immigration to be eligible for a JR Pass. Do not pass through the automated gates, as no stamp will be applied
- Japanese passport holders who have been residing outside of Japan for 10+ years are eligible to use a JR pass if they have 1) a valid Japanese passport and 2) a Copy of Overseas Residential Registration/Certificate of Overseas Residence from the Japanese embassy or legation of Japan in your foreign country of residence

This is the second time to purchase a JR Pass. The last time was Kitakyushu, this time in Shikoku. It took 11 days to go, and the middle 7 days were very convenient to use a Pass. The JR pass is very cost effective to move around Shikoku as the transport cost is relatively more expensive in this region. Am glad that I got this as I was travelling alone and had noone to share the transport cost with. Exchange for the pass was a breeze too - I arrived at the office slightly earlier than their opening hours but the staff did not hesitate to receive me as she saw me with my big backpack. 1. I received it shortly after the order was placed. This is a great value Shikoku JR Pass. You can take the Shikoku JR full line and some private rail buses to taste the food of Shikoku. 2. When you travel to Japan to exchange money, remember to ask for a coupon. One person will get one. Some attractions can use the coupon together, and some attractions require one. (At the time, only one book was given to the counter, which led to many attractions only offering one discount)

JRpass Shikoku Railway is great, but if you can hope to add more island hopping tickets, I feel better! After all, visiting Shikoku and other islands is also a good choice.
Yes, basically any railway can be used easily. People who are not afraid to buy the wrong ticket to go to more than one place should buy jr.
