Booked the day tour because I was bringing 4 elderly (aged 57-70yo) with me. Was worried there are many stairs to climb but fortunately manageable and the Japanese staff were flexible if you request for help. The only down side is that the waiting area at the Sapporo bus terminal had no lift access, and lift access via the mall was only opened at 10am. So we had to recce the place ourselves, and found that the elderly could wait on first floor at the various entrances of the bus terminal near Hotel Nikko. One of us accompanied the parents, while another went to the counter to wait and update on the situation. The bus usually departs from Berth 17 which is nearest to the Chuo bus counter, which is accessible by crossing the road where all the bus berths are. the multi-lingo is a nice addition and you can listen to it in the comfort of the seat on ear phones provided. We were lucky that weather was goood and had clear skies that day. My favourite was taking the cable car up to see the lakeview.... however there wasn't enough time to explore the other side of the stairs. The Melon ice cream up at Mt Usu station is a must-try!!!! It's the yummiest ice-cream of our whole trip! The volcano museum was also interesting. We were given the most time here so other places felt even more tight for time, especially since elderly cannot walk too fast and hence they are not able to venture too far off. Food looked sumptuous but tasted average. Someone said he had time for onsen but since one can't go for onsen until 30mins later after food, onsen was not possible. Also, felt that I had to rush through food if I wanna explore the place more and to take more pictures. The time part is a pity but understandable as it covers more areas. The seats on the coach are rather narrow even for average sizes. Also, we didn't book very early and thus we were all separated. So book early if u want to sit together.

Nice arrangement throughout the tour! The guide was helpful and friendly. The lunch set was also very nice :) Highly recommended!

Good, but can be improved in the following areas: 1. food a bit cold better hotter 2. can give the trip members a handout in their language when aboard so that the Japanese tour guide does not have to show the information sheet to the trip members one by one during the ride.

View of the lakes and mountains were superb. Driver and guide were polite. We enjoyed the tour.

Trip was a good. departed on time. Set Lunch provided was a good intro to Japanese set. Visited the major sights as stated in the itinerary. Tour guide was polite although there was a lack of communication in English, but a headset with audio guide on the major sights along the route was provided. All in all, the trip was worth the price paid. The only drawback was the short period of time allowed at each destination, barely enough to savour the local sights.

The tour is indeed superb! From the start until the end of this tour my family and I really enjoy it. The way Chuo Bus people/staff assists you throughout this tour made me fall in love more in their service. Also, language barrier has not become an issue to us throughout the tour even though we don't know how to speak Japanese, they can understand & speak basic English so don't worry. :) The places we've been through from Sapporo Station to Lake Shikotsu to Lake Toya(plus having a lunch in a hotel beside this lake) to Mt. Usuzan and lastly Nakayama Pass everything is very beautiful. Japan really has a lot of good places you can go to. What I love about this tour is how they plan it from the start until the end. The first stops are the known Lakes in Hokkaido region, Lake Shikotsu & Lake Toya. We go to Japan in their Spring season, around mid May this year (2018) and guess what we have still saw Sakura! Yes! Cherry Blossoms around these two lakes. So if you're planning for your trip in Japan and want to go there probably around late April to mid May and still want to see Cherry Blossoms, the Hokkaido region is for you. :) The lunch is one of the things amazed and made me excited too! Never expect that we can eat an authentic Japanese style lunch. Never thought that you can eat that in a tour, right? And it's so delicious! Then from there we go to Mt. Usuzan the first time we go to ride in a Japan cable car, you can see a view of Chitose and also the lakes that will make you awe as you go up in the mountain. Once you're in the top, the achievement of going up to the additional stairs is really worth it for the view. This is the part of the tour that I can say, you shouldn't miss! The later part of the tour is kinda in a hurry but we still have enjoy the last stops that we have gone to in this tour. :) What I love about the last stops is that we have saw snow! Yeah! Snow! See...the way they plan this tour is from the city to the waters to the high grounds and to the freeze water, you can see and experience it throughout this tour. :) I've never saw a snow in my life, this is the first time. Even though its not falling, I still see its beauty because we have the view of Mt. Yotei from the snow place area, the known "Mt. Fuji" in Hokkaido region. I really enjoy our last stop because we go there around the sunset time so the beauty of the view is too much. :) For me, if you will go to Japan particularly in Sapporo or Hokkaido region don't miss visiting the places in these tour or better go on this bus tour. Their service & experience they can offer are more than to its price, I am telling you. You will love it too, as much as we do! :) PS. If you're wondering where is the place you can claim your tickets for the bus tour. Its in Sapporo Station's ESTA Building - 2nd floor. Use the stairs right outside the ESTA Building and from there you can see the Chuo Bus Regular SightSeeing Bus Counter inside where you can present your voucher to claim your tickets. :)

Very well organized tour which covers basically everything. Lunch covers a variety of food and was delicious. However, time at each location was quite short. Its good that for this tour, they have English audio.
