Reviews
Tour was both interesting and informative. It was a good way to experience SG from a more up-close perspective versus from a car or even online.
The tour was rescheduled due to limited participants. It was also rainy, despite of it, we enjoyed the tour since our tour guide, Andros, was really energetic and eager to impart the knowledge and culture behind Chinatown itself. We were not also able to visit other location but we still found it very informative by visiting the evolution of shops, the murals, temples, etc. We also had a delightful breakfast at Nanyang Old Coffee! Kudos!
It was really a fun tour. It was supposed to be join in afternoon tour but we were upgraded to a private tour. Our tour guide Sam was very professional and he was able to give a good insight to the culture of Singapore. Since this is a walking tour, be prepared with your comfortable shoes.
Was very interesting tour, get to know about Chinatown and visit iconic attraction "botanic garden", Thank you Francis and MyProGuide team (had met few guides from this company in different countries) highly recommend!
Although a little administrative problem occurred before the event, the service staff actively dealt with the arrangements so that we can smoothly participate in this intellectual itinerary, making the trip to Chinatown, Little India, and the Botanical Garden not only delicious but also more cultural. Experience! Great.
Jimmy and I met at Nanyang Old Coffee, and it was a very good start. I don't even know there is such a special way to order a cup of coffee in Singapore. After that, we walked into the Buddha Tooth Temple, Chinatown Market, Little India, Singapore Botanical Garden, and Newton Food Centre. What makes me most happy is that the market has many delicious food and a botanical garden with fresh air like nature. During this journey, Jimmy also introduced many tips and common sense, each of which is amazing. On the way back, I kept playing back the beautiful memories of Singapore in my mind. Thanks for the tour, Jimmy!
We had a great learning experience with our Protour guide Jimmy Loh ( Kudos!). First, we met @ Nanyang Old Coffee House in Chinatown. We tried their delicious Kopi and grilled cheese sandwich then started the tour by going to Buddha Tooth Relic Museum first. We were impressed about the intricate design of the interior and the statues of Buddha. We also went to the Rooftop Garden and spun the huge Buddhist prayer wheel. Then,we walked around Chinatown, saw old buildings and passed by known open-air eateries, Chinese Traditional Medicine Stores and delicacy stores like Kele (known for Pineapple Tart). We also enjoyed the Botanic Gardens. A UNESCO World Heritage site and An 82 hectare garden with plenty of old and monumental trees and beautiful flowers. The AIR was so fresh our lungs were happy. Our KLOOK Private Tour was very satisfying. It was easy to access for booking and queries. Our Tour guide, Jimmy Loh was very knowledgeable about the culture, history and story of the places we've been. Plus very kind and considerate to our needs esp when we wanted to buy souvenirs.
Our tour guide, Francis “Tiger”, was very informative and fun. We got to visit Little India, Chinatown, Botanical Garden and Newton Food Centre. There was never a dull moment while we were walking. We really learned a lot from him. Thank you! 😊
Tour with Jimmy was such a pleasant experience! The walking tour was very informative, not only on tourist attractions but as to history and how the locals live as well. Jimmy was also kind enough to accommodate our request to briefly stopover to rest and have some snacks. Highly recommend this to anyone who visits SG!
A fun way to learn about the Chinese and Indian heritage of Singapore. Our tour guide was very informative and she was ready with raincoats for us.
