What To Expect

Temples, temples, temples… well, that is why you're in Siem Reap after all. The Angkor Temples tour is hands down the best way to explore Cambodia's incredible feats of religious architecture. Begin at Ta Prohm Temple, where ancient stones and massive tree roots are locked in battle. These ruins overgrown with trees made the atmospheric backdrop for scenes in the 'Tomb Raider' movies. Then it's onwards to Angkor Thom Complex ancient walled city and the mystical Bayon Temple adorned with hundreds of smiling faces carved into the sandstone. Roam further into the temple complex and immerse yourself in stories told by your local Khmer guide before seeking out a shaded area to enjoy a hot Cambodian picnic lunch, at your own expense. End the tour with a bang: a visit to the jewel of the Khmer Empire, the amazing Angkor Wat Temple, where founding inscriptions are plentiful, and the Phnom Bakheng, home to the first of the temple-mountains built in Angkor. Reflect on Cambodia's troubled history and contemplate the secrets as you stroll through these masterpieces of architecture and engineering.

This tour was guided by Sok, he explained a lot of the carvings and story of Angkor Wat to us. He has great photography skills too! An interesting tour for me, enjoyed a lot even though it was raining during my visit. We were amazed by the charming and magnificent view of all the temples in Angkor Wat.

The group tour is nice and we all had a good time! Our tour guide Dara explained the history of the country very thoroughly and was very patient with every question that we have. Looking forward to more tours like this.

We have loads of fun coz we had a small group...and we are so lucky to have Mr Sopheap as our guide. He's friendly, knowledgeable in the historical aspect, culture and religion as he spent his youth in the monastery. He's also such a sport coz he actually helped us in the photography (he even took panaromic shots for individuals in the tour group). The tour starts with hotel pick up, then to the tpur office for the assigned trip and then we are off to the Angkor centre to get the Angkor Pass. The first stop is the majestic Angkor Wat, then to Ta Phrom, Bayon, Angkor Thom...we didnt get to see the sunset coz it rained! For those who are going to Angkor tour, pls bring water, snacks (in case u feel peckish after all the walking and climbing d steps), umbrella/hat, sunnies, small towel and sunblock coz the heat is real Overall a good experience indeed!

Although tiring its worth the price to join this tour. Pick-up from the hotel was a little late as scheduled but after the follow-up they immediately went to our hotel. Two-thumbs up to Dara for giving us great experience of the tour. We had lot of good photo thanks to his suggestions and also some creative shots from him. Over-all it was a great experience to join this group tours because you get to know other people as well and at the same time enjoy the tour itself. Will definitely recommend this to anyone!

    1. Language: His english was very clear and specific to understand. 2. Knowledge: I felt he kept objectivity and it was good for us since explation was mostly contented stories. Recommand readers to study history and mithology to maximise your experience. We only studied NG documentary. 3. Atmosphere: He was one of the bests in light of my travelling experience of 30 countries. I felt him like a friend. And he cared every single person in his group. In additiin, the group seemed to be harmonised.

The tour is one of the thing that you must do in Siem Reap. The architecture of the temples is just amazing. Be prepared to walk about 12000 - 15000 steps during the tour with views that will amazed your mind.

Mr Kim was a wonderful tour guide. His knowledge of the temples was excellent and he made the tour very interesting. He also knew the best spots to take photos and was very helpful in the taking of these. The tour as a whole was both well organised and well executed.
