The tour was adventurous and fun and the tour guide was a very nice and polite guy. However, try to do this trip during the week because the waterfall gets very crowded during the weekend. You should also buy a mask as the road between Siem Reap and Kilen Mountain can be very dusty.

What To Expect

Up for an adventure? If you're feeling daring and want to really get off-road, we've got the perfect tour for you. Drive to the place where it all began, where Jayavarman crowned himself godking in 802AD. Rich in history, Phnom Kulen is where the ‘Age of Angkor' began, and is one of only two places in Cambodia where Buddha is reputed to have set foot. Visit a giant reclining Buddha and a scenic waterfall (don't forget your swimwear!) Then push on further, exploring kilometers of complex back trails, deep jungle tracks and hidden temples, including the stunning and sought-after stone elephant and lion statues. Tours are fully customizable, so if you want to take it easier, an alternative route takes you to the isolated pagoda of Preah Kral, with beautiful views of the Kulen Mountain plateau. This is the ultimate moto experience but if you're not feeling confident, not to worry, just hop on the back of the guide's bike instead.

A fabulous experience! At times hard work (mainly due to the fact we took the "hard" route option to see the Elephant and Lions) but one that will clearly stay with us for life! Make sure you take a bandana or something to wear under the helmet as it gets super hot! The Guide was excellent and marshalled us well. There was just me and my son and the guide - perfect!

It really was an adventure, that's for sure! I didn't know how to drive a motorbike so I just opted to be a passenger. It was surprisingly an amazing experience. I got to see the province side, farms and rivers. It was my first time riding (passenger) a motorbike as much as it was an amazing adventure it was also exhausting. Well actually the road to the elephant statue and bat cave was the intense and bumpy ride, it sure gave me an adrenalin rush! Haha the waterfall was a beautiful. My driver/guide was nice enough to give me breaks, hihi. It sure was a great adventure, something that you should try at least once in your life.

My guide was very experienced and friendly. Motorbiking through the Cambodian country side was beautiful and humbling. I fell in love with Cambodia and its happy smiling people. Swimming in the waterfall at Kulen Mountain was an awesome experience and a great cool-off. Lunch near the waterfall was also delicious. My guide was kind enough to take me to see the Elephant statues in the jungle, even though it was a difficult trek (and maybe not for everyone). I had a minor accident on the way back, but my guide was very attentive and had a first aid kit handy. He was also able to perform quick repairs on the bike. He went out of his way to give me a good experience. I would recommend this to anyone in relatively good shape who is looking for an-out-of-the-way experience that not every tourist gets at the more heavily trafficked sites. I think it might be better to offer this as a half day trip as it can be very tiring and challenging for beginners, but otherwise awesome!

Klook had a great portal and user interface, and was really fast and efficient to use. They had a strict 24 hour pre-booking policy and the booking calendar reflected that timely. They were able to work on a tight timeline, and managed to arrange the motorbike tour two days prior to the activity date. The guide who took us out to Phnom Kulen was also very friendly and made us feel very safe throughout the tour. We did have some slight payment confusions though, as we only required 1 motorbike for 2 persons, instead of of 2 motorbikes. Whilst they were prompt to clarify that and confirm that a partial refund would be made, they were unable to get back to us on the exact amount of the partial refund. All in all, an activity in Siem Reap very much worth it!

The country side ride in rough terrain was good. The guide especially was speaking better than expected English and was able to share his knowledge on Buddhism and the history of Cambodia.

I made a tour on a honda with my guide Benny to the Kulen mountains and it was absolutly amazing. We met nice natives & the landscape is phantastic. The best: Pure adventure an no overfilled crowds of tourists !!!! It`s very easy to drive the motos and you see the real combodia (which became one of my favorite countries) If you go to the Kulan mountains-take a swim under the waterfall-An event you`ll never forget!!!!!!!

i can really recommend this experience!! We booked the moto tour to Kulen an incredible mountain range, were we swam under a waterfall. The views from the vast and remote roads is amazing. As was our guide Benny, a really cool guy. We were welcomed in the small villages by the locals; they probably don't get many tourist up here! Riding a moto, is like being on a bicycle, really easy to handle. It was a very good way to explore Cambodia.

We had a Great Day, driving on 125cc bikes from Siem reap to Kulen Mountain. We had an amazing ride through the countryside and a quite exhausting trip through the jungle to the top of kulen mountain. there we visited a place deep in the jungle which you can only reach by motorbike. It is basically the place where 1200 years ago the Angkor time started. we could see a huge stone elefant and some stone lions which are 1200 years later still in a pretty good shape. The whole place is quite unknown and there have not been any tourists. On the way back, we stopped by a lot of interesting sights, like a cave, old villages and an old canon from Khmer rouge times. Overall we were very impressed and also exhausted (after 10hours that is quite normal ;-)) I can definitely recommend this individual trip, as it is something special that you normally can not find. Therefore the prices are also reasonable. Just one recommendation: you should definitely have some basic driving skills, otherwise the trip to Kulen might be too hard ;-)

    很不錯的活動, 不過因為路程太多山石, 所以屁股會很痛
