SIMPLY ONE OF THE BEST TOURS I HAVE EVER BEEN ON! If you want to see the real Cambodia this is the only way to do it! The guide was amazing and spent time making sure we were comfortable on the bikes before setting off. We then spent the entire day on quiet back roads and tracks, driving through tiny villages not reachable by car. Seeing small temples in the middle of the forest and spending time at local markets. Truly a day to remember. AND NOT ANOTHER TOURIST IN SIGHT!

What To Expect

How best to see Cambodia? Like the locals of course! The Khmer people's main means of transport is motorbike, and it's the quickest way to escape the tourist traps and see the real Cambodia. You'll get a true sense of freedom zooming along the Khmer trails through green rice fields, lush bamboo groves and remote jungle. The roads are virtually traffic-free and the 125cc Honda Dreams are easy to ride. But just to be on the safe side, you'll get extensive instructions and the chance to scoot about and test your skills first. If you're not feeling confident, not to worry, just hop on the back of the guide's bike instead. Visit several low-key sites including the isolated Koh Khrong temple before heading over to an ancient reservoir for a delicious local lunch. Take a refreshing swim, go inner tubing, try your hand at fishing or relax in the surrounding nature whilst lunch is prepared. What's more, the community benefits directly from every visitor through a specially set up development fund.

This adventure trip may be more suitable for those living in City. We were born in village and have years of riding motorbike experience, hence no riding practise needed from us, we start our Countryside journey immediately. We are expecting bbq lunch as stated in the itinerary but was served with simple khemer food which we feel a bit disappointed.

Special experience for the people living in city. Need to wear mask and UV lotion since over 5 hours under the sunshine. BBQ lunch is very good but the portion is too big for girls.

It was really private as I was the only one for the day. You will be given amount of time to practice with the motorbike, feel at ease even when you don't have prior experience or license. The guide will also judge your skills over the practice, & will suggest if you should ride your own or be a passenger. Mine was a 125cc Honda Dream, so it was easy to maneuver. Then you will be led by the guide to ride off road & into the countryside. There will be a rest stop with lunch and a fresh water lake for swim.

The tour is amazing! The guides are experienced and nice. Sufficient time is provided for practising with your motor bike! This would suits you if you wish to explore the real local life of Cambodian in villages. We have been to a local wet market, hidden temple, monastery, very nice BBQ lunch and monk's house. We gain more knowledge of Cambodian culture and local life. Really a worthy experience

This is really a wonderful experience for me and my wife, although my wife is not Familia with riding a bike, the guide gave us sufficient time for practice and we could enjoy the trip hassle free. We saw a lot and learned a lot about the life of normal people in Cambodia, and we had a good BBQ from the villager’s restaurant which is built in local traditional style, and we took a nap on a hammock too! Good for adventure taker to join!

Went on this Adventure a few days after new years and can honestly say it was a very enjoyable experience. Be prepared for stunning countryside views and real dirt road motor cycling. My partner and I were complete beginners but the 125cc bikes were very easy to learn to ride. The guide took his time and didn't rush us. We stopped occasionally and was able to stop at points of interest at will. It will be dusty, but the locals are very friendly and were waving at us consistently throughout the whole trip. Lunch was very nice, with no shortage of food. You'll arrive back at the hotel dusty but it's well worth it!

Great experience! Countryside was absolutely amazing. Got to see parts of Cambodia that many tourist don't get to see. People along the way we met were kind and cheerful especially the children. Highly recommend!

amazing tour with a great guide. highly recommended for beginners. if u're confident, you can always try out the kulen mountain ride which will definitely have been much more enjoyable.

If you are competentto ride a motorbike, I strongly recommend that you book a day tour with one of the guides thru "Beyond Unique Escapes", either for the day trips to Angkor Wat, the Tonle Sap Tours, and especially the morotbike tours thru the countryside. Ask for Mr. Chhoun Chhan as a guide and you will have a delightful trip outside the "tourist areas" and into the countryside. We visited out of the way temples, rode on the lakebedof Tonle Sap and generally had a wonderful adventure for two days. "Beyone Unique Escapes" is slightly more than some of the other tours, but for a once in a lifetime experience, choose the best, please!
