Everyone there was super friendly with a beautiful smile and always so helpful. We felt like we are in a boran scene surrounded with beautiful architecture. I’m impressed of how they manage to keep the place beautiful, clean and functional. Not to forget, they use satang (Thai ancient money) to buy souvenirs, food or drinks.
Our visit is in August, so expect very hot weather. Overall experience, it was great and I really love the place and the traditional foods sell in the area. The area is big, so be prepared.
Climbing up the Watch Tower is not recommended for the light hearted or those with fear of heights!! Desserts and Snacks were pretty delicious!! Remember to change to the Malika City Currency before buying of food and drink items.
Because I am driving by myself and coming on weekdays, I have a lot of time to explore the park when there are not many people. It is very interesting to be able to wear the clothes of the era and feel like you are immersed in the place! When we finally came out, the driver helped us take photos and the photos were very professional! He was so satisfied that he felt sorry for not leaving a tip (but he might also be very surprised, because it was 30 baht per trip online, so he got a tip for taking a photo, but I really like the photos he took!)
You can exchange it directly at the door. The service staff will first take you to choose Thai clothes and change clothes before entering the city. The first step in entering the city is to exchange ancient coins. Ancient coins are used for any consumption in the city. It is recommended to exchange more and use You can change it back to Thai Baht at the exit. I was taking pictures along the way, and it looked great at any time. There were various snacks at the entrance to the city, and you could buy them along the way. There were also restaurants-like places where you could sit down and taste, watch the scenery, and take pictures.
The entire park is planned very carefully, and you can actually experience the traditional Thai rice milling method. It is a great park for taking photos and visiting. After drinking Thai milk, you can take the clay cup back as a souvenir.
The plan I chose includes Thai clothing but does not include the buffet. There is a small street selling snacks in the park. After entering the park, you can first go to the "bank" to exchange for ancient coins, and then go to the small street to buy food and take photos.
Ticket redemption is very convenient and much cheaper than buying on site. It is recommended that you buy it online first! Then, the food at the buffet is super Thai, and we are all not used to it. I suggest that you don’t need to buy more. It is more practical to buy food directly in the park.
It’s a very nice place, very unique. You can change into Thai clothes, exchange ancient coins, and visit ancient shops. The food at the stall is quite delicious and not too expensive. Endless ancient coins can be exchanged for Thai baht at the door. The ticket also comes with a discount coupon for the cityside cafe. I would like to thank the Klook customer service staff. An error occurred when using the ticket. I contacted the customer service staff afterwards and they helped me deal with it very quickly. I am very grateful.
It’s very cost-effective to buy it in advance. You only need to show it to the staff when you arrive on site, and it can save a lot of time! ! !
