You will be picked up at either Sapporo Excel Hotel Tokyu, Tokyo-Dome Hotel Sapporo, or ANA Hotel Sapporo and be whisked off to a port located in Abashiri, where you will board Aurora, the world's first ice drift cruise taking passengers. On the journey to Abashiri, there will be a couple of rest stops as well as lunch at Sushiyasu, a local restaurant known for serving delicious donburi (Japanese rice bowl meal topped with fish or meat). Onboard Aurora, you will get up close and personal to drift ice as the cruise crushes it beneath your feet. If you are lucky, you might even get to see wild seals chilling on floating ice! For the second half of your Hokkaido adventure, you will be taken to the Sounkyo Ice Fall Festival, a popular winter festival in Hokkaido. Spend 30 minutes enjoying the magnificant ice sculptures and lights then visit ice shrines or relax with a drink at one of the ice bars. After 30 minutes of exploring one of Hokkaido's largest ice events, you'll be driven back to your hotel in Sapporo.
