What to expect
"Owl cafe "Akiba Fukurou" opened on August 8, 2014 by a married couple who loves owls. We aim to create a unique space where owls and people can spend time together with mutual respect.
The welfare of the owls is our top priority, so entrance into our cafe is strictly by reservation-only and limited to small groups and short opening hours. We hope the calming and peacful space can offer you a different perspective of Akiba Fukurou.
We believe that by interacting with the owls, you will live a more fulfilling life. The company of gentle, adorable owls never fails to make people smile and that your new owl friends can heal your tired hearts,
We aim to create a soothing fantasy in our space for our guests to fully experience the healing effects of their visits to the owl cafe. We play classical music, have soothing sconce lighting, and use tranquil white color scheme in our room so that our guests can experience 'a soothing fantasy'.
As a part of our perfomance, every flow of background music has its own theme, and each "story" lasts for approximately one hour.
