Reviews
A very nice experience. We took the last slot (17:10) from Odaiba to Asakusa. At this time, we were able to enjoy the sunset and the night. The boat stopped in front of the Skytree, which was illuminated. We simply scanned the QR code at the ticket office and received in exchange the tickets for the cruise, which lasted 50min.
one of the best experiences in Tokyo. we took the ride from Asakusa to Odaiba. Depart from Asakusa at 930am. Claim your ticket at Sumida park tourist information center at 9am. Walk around the riverside. Very beautiful view with Sky tree Tower. we grab some light breakfast - sandwich , bread, cake at convenience store and have it on cruise.
Although it was mentioned on the voucher notes to print the e-ticket as they won’t accept mobile voucher, the ticket officer was able to scan the QR from my phone and I was able to get my physical ticket. He doesn’t seem to speak much English so we had a bit of trouble communicating. I arrived early, around 9am. I thought that my cruise was scheduled to leave at 9:30 but since there’s another one already leaving at 9:10, he hurriedly ushered me to catch it. Only a few people were on board. We can easily walk around inside the boat and on the deck. If you want to experience a relaxing transit, instead of the usual subway or bus, try going to Odaiba or Asakusa via this short cruise.
We bought the ticket from Asakusa Nitenmon to Odaiba. The ride was about one hour. It's very relaxing after a long walk at Asakusa. The views are nice. It passes many bridges. It's a good experience that you can't miss it.
Beautiful ride along the Sumida river, where you can sightsee both riverbanks and see the beautiful bridges along the course. An audio guide on board in Japanese, Chinese qnd English will point out the places of interest and the names of bridges. The cruise goes up the river to Asakusa then back down to Odaiba, so you can see the whole river!
Enjoyed the boat ride greatly. It was nice and quiet to stand on the upper deck. The staff who exchanged our tickets for us was really friendly and welcoming. Glad that we made the decision to use the boat ride to visit Odaiba as we wanted to see the Unicorn Gundam.
nice and smooth journey. staff was friendly. easy to locate from train station. odaiba seaside drop off has a decks mall, must go as it has a lot of things to see and do
The hotel is located in Koto District. To get to Asakusa Kaminarimon Temple and Tokyo Skytree, you can choose to take the Tokyo Waterfront Line, which departs from Odaiba Seaside Park Pier to Asakusa. The flight takes about one hour and crosses many famous bridges, such as the Rainbow Bridge. Chuo Bridge, New Bridge, Ryogoku Bridge, Azuma Bridge, etc. The sun is in the sky. If you don’t want to dry out on the top of the boat, you can also choose to sit in the cabin and enjoy the air conditioning. Through the glass windows, you can also enjoy the scenery on both sides of the road. Listen to the radio introducing the names of the bridges passing by, and you will arrive there before you know it. It’s a great cruise experience in Asakusa😃
The staff were incredibly kind and polite, and the boarding process was smooth and straightforward. The entire cruise was a wonderful experience—you get to see landmarks like the Skytree Tower, the Asahi Flame, and, at the end, a replica of the Statue of Liberty. Along the way, you sail down the Sumida River, taking in Tokyo’s beautiful skyline with the breeze gently hitting your face. If you’re visiting Tokyo, I genuinely recommend taking a cruise like this; it's an affordable and relaxing way to see the city from a different perspective.
This cruise is a lot of fun. Easy to get tickets (the clerk was very helpful). Good way to get to Odaiba and then return by metro. Don’t miss the amazing view from SkyTree as you approach the ticket booth!
