Fantastic 5.0
Abeno Harukas Observatory is a must-visit viewpoint in Osaka. Its impressive height offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the entire city, providing an incredibly open vista. On clear days, you can see for miles, and both daytime and nighttime views have their unique charm, with the night view being particularly stunning as the city lights create a spectacular sea of illumination.
The observatory boasts a spacious layout with glass designs that ensure an unobstructed view, making it excellent for photography. It never feels cramped, allowing visitors to stroll and admire the scenery at their leisure. There's also a cafe and seating areas inside, where you can relax and enjoy the high-altitude views.
Compared to other observatories, Harukas stands out for its height and superior comfort. Crowd control is also managed quite well, contributing to a very pleasant overall experience. While the ticket price might not be the cheapest, it is definitely worth it.
Overall, it's a highly recommended attraction. If you want to see the most beautiful panoramic views of Osaka, this place will certainly not disappoint!

This is a very interesting tourist route that you absolutely must experience for yourself. On the day of the Nara earthquake, the dedicated elevator was out of service, so we had to take several transfers to get down, which was inconvenient. However, we were able to comfortably and calmly enjoy the vast panoramic views. It's different from seeing it from an airplane. I'd like to adjust my schedule and go again. The takoyaki ticket can be redeemed at the cafe immediately visible after descending to the 58th floor. It's good to order a drink along with it. It might also be a good idea to bring your own drink.

The birdeye view you get here for Osaka is definitely stunning enough and nothing less exciting than Shibuya Sky. It is completely indoor, and sightseeing the whole Osaka city is definitely achievable without blind spots. It is definitely recommended to be here around sunset time, you will be surprised how nice the view can be, and the crowd is not as crazy as the one in Shibuya Sky. The building is easily accesible via a connecting bridge from the nearest metro station.

Harukas 300 offers a superior Osaka view compared to the Umeda Sky Building, featuring stunning floor-to-ceiling glass and far fewer crowds. It’s the city’s best-kept secret for a peaceful, panoramic experience without the tourist swarms.

Visited around 5:30 PM on Friday, January 26, 2016. Follow the blue (sky blue) guide line on the floor to enter the building, go up to the 16th floor, and then follow the observatory guide line to find the desk. Show the QR code that you reserved, exchange it for a physical admission ticket (1 ticket per person), and enter without waiting!! Arrived at the observatory... The night view spread out before my eyes was "Amazing...amazing," words that came out unconsciously. No matter where you look at 360 degrees, all the lights are under my feet and my gaze~ If you want to see an unobstructed night view, I highly recommend Harukas 300!!!

If I had to pick the most impressive place during my Osaka trip, it would definitely be the Harukas 300 Observatory. Located on the top floor of Abeno Harukas, the tallest building in Japan, this observatory, as its name suggests, allows you to overlook the entire Osaka cityscape in 360 degrees from a height of about 300 meters above the ground. It is directly connected to Tennoji Station, making it easily accessible, and the convenient route made it stress-free even when traveling with my parents.
The highlight of the trip begins the moment you get on the ultra-fast elevator after entering. The effect of the floors rising rapidly inside the elevator is impressive, and the panoramic view that unfolds as soon as the doors open is breathtaking. The indoor observatory has a full-glass structure, so if the weather is good, the view is very wide, and you can see not only Osaka city but also Kansai Airport and Osaka Bay in the distance at a glance.
I highly recommend visiting, especially around sunset. During the day, you can clearly see the structure of the city, the streets, and the flow of the river, and when the sun sets, the sky is dyed orange and pink, completely changing the atmosphere. After it gets completely dark, a sparkling night view unfolds, and the lights of high-rise buildings and roads give a neat feeling, which is different from the night view of Umeda. The scenery in the direction of Tennoji and Shinsekai is also well visible, allowing you to appreciate the various aspects of Osaka in one place.
The outdoor space, Sky Garden, was also impressive. The scenery seen while feeling the wind directly is more vibrant than the indoor view, and it is also great for taking pictures. The inside of the observatory was wider than I thought, so even if there were many people, it didn't feel too crowded, and there were photo zones and rest areas well-prepared throughout, allowing me to enjoy the view at my leisure.
The satisfaction level may vary slightly depending on the weather, but overall, I felt that it was an observatory with a very high satisfaction level compared to the price. If you are considering night views or scenery during your Osaka trip, Harukas 300 is a place that is well worth the visit. If I visit Osaka again next time, it is a place I would like to go up again, changing the season.

Harukas 300 was absolutely amazing! 🌆 The view of Osaka during the day was breathtaking, and I only wish I had more time to see it at night ✨. Even so, it was such a beautiful experience, taking in the city from above. The food was delicious too — a perfect mix of stunning views and tasty bites. Highly recommend! 🍴💛
