Sweden itself is very expensive to consume, it is wrong to get one mosquito, and one day can be spent.

Book this ticket last minute, and it works! We spent around 3 hours in it. There is a English guided tour at 11.30am at Seglora Church. The guide briefly tells you how they relocate all the buildings from every part of Sweden and place it here, something like Lego. Skansen museum is like a zoo, there are a lot of animals including Nordic animals such as reindeers and bear.

Skansen was such a pleasant surprise. I usually don't visit museums, as I prefer walking on the streets and immerse myself in the local culture. But Skansen is all about local culture and it's like a walk in the park or through Sweden's history. I have spent around 4 hours wandering the area and learning about the Swedish way of living. Definitely a must-see. Very good idea to come with your children also.

Winter may not be the best time to visit as a lot of activities are closed and the Christmas market is only open during the weekends. Nonetheless, it's still a fun outing for kids as the place is huge and will take a few hours to cover.
