Departing from Tokyo, take a day tour in Gunma where you can play at a snow park and feast on freshly picked strawberries and seafood buffet delicacies

  • Participate in winter activities such as riding sleds and sliding down snow tubes at Tambara Ski Park Snow Land
  • Visit the Kamakura Snow Huts inside Tambara Ski Park for a full winter experience in Japan
  • Enjoy a delicious buffet including seafood delicacies such as crabs and sweet shrimps
  • Pick your own then devour fresh and juicy strawberries
  • Tours held between mid to late April will include a trip to Numata Park, where cherry blossom trees bloom seasonally
  • Round trip bus transportation included for a hassle-free commute
  • Accompanied by an English guide, this full day tour from Tokyo is an easy way to escape the city for a day and is perfect for families
What We Love:

Gunma Prefecture is located approximately an hour away from Tokyo. Embark on this day tour to one of the most beautiful regions of Japan. Depending on your preference, choose to meet up with your English-speaking guide at Shinjuku or Ikebukuro to board a shuttle bus taking you to Gunma. Upon arrival, you will visit the Tambara Ski Resort Snow Land where you can roll around in the powdery snow and enjoy sleds and slides down the icy tunnels. Next, indulge in an all-you-can-eat seafood buffet including mouthwatering crabs and shrimps that Japan is so known for. After lunch, you will be taken to a field where you can spend the next 30 minutes picking and devouring fresh strawberries plucked from the bushes. If you book your town in April, you will even get to visit Numata Park, where a 400 year old cherry blossom tree still blooms to this day. At the day's end, you will be taken back to Shinjuku with a satisfied belly and an unforgettable experience of Japan in the winter.
