What to expect
Learn silversmithing hands-on, guided one-on-one by a craftsman with over 30 years of experience. At Nova ArtLab in downtown Chiang Mai, you'll design and make your own sterling silver ring or pendant from scratch - cutting, shaping, soldering, and polishing it to a finish you'll be proud to wear. No experience needed: this class is built for complete beginners, with all tools and sterling silver provided. The class runs 10:30am-4:30pm with a lunch break, and you'll leave the same day with the piece you made. Taught in English and Thai; because the format is hands-on and one-on-one, detailed technical explanations may be harder to follow in Mandarin, though most students find this doesn't affect the experience itself.
