What To Expect

This full day tour has a choc-a-block itinerary, designed to give you a total Seoul immersion. Marvel at the architecture of one of Seoul's most beautiful palaces, Gyeongbokgung. Resulting from a stormy history, ongoing reconstructions mean you can see original portions alongside modern efforts to restore it to its former glory. Reminisce to bygone days with a guided visit of the National Folk Museum before a tasty local lunch. After you're fully sated, you'll set off to visit palace no.2, UNESCO-listed Changdeokgung, a perfectly preserved architectural example from the Joseon Dynasty. Walk along the serene Jogyesa Buddhist Temple and peruse crafts and antiques at Insadong Street. End the tour with a drop off at the City Hall.

The Gyeongbokgung Palace was the best st part of the tour. The visits to the Buddhist Temple and museum were okay. The rest were not so good.

Nice tour & guide. Would have love the stops for buying gingseng and/or red pine oil extract were not mandatory.

The tour was one of the highlights of our trip. We were fetched in the meeting point on time. Our guide, Katie, was so kind and informative. She gave interesting facts for the places we visited. However, the times given to roam around were somehow rushed. Maybe they should remove the destinations where the people sell their products and put the time on the other destinations. The products there are so expensive. Overall, the tour is enjoyable. It was worth it. It made us appreciate the Korean culture more.

The timing of the tour was ok. The lunch included in the tour was tasty. I think we won’t be able to cover as much attractions if we went on our own.

Katie was a very approachable, informative and accommodating tour guide. She and the driver picked us up at our hotel on time. Although the places we visited were beautiful and entertaining, July is a very hot month to visit Seoul. We were sweating a lot while roaming around. I would say that the palaces and temples could be toured on your own but if you want to learn and ask more questions about korean history and products, this tour is good. Lunch was also not bad but not the best. The food included in the tour was limited to bibimbap, kimchi rice (not spicy), kimchi soup (spicy) and soy bean paste but if you want more meat, you can have additional orders for own pay. The stir-fried beef was very delicious. Overall, the day was very productive. Thank you, klook!

The tour was not really worth the price. You can tour the temple, palaces and markets on your own. Rent a hanbok too before you visit! The food was good tho. You can choose among chicken, beef, pork and fried rice.
