Liaoning Provincial Museum

The Liaoning Provincial Museum is located in the southern suburbs of Shenyang City and is a new museum that opened for trial operation in May 2015. It primarily features archaeological artifacts unearthed in the Liaoning region and historical and artistic relics passed down through generations, with a particular emphasis on bronzeware, ancient maps, calligraphy and painting works, Hongshan jade, Liao Dynasty ceramics, Ming and Qing Dynasty prints, steles from various dynasties, and currency from various dynasties.
