Blue Elephant in Phuket (Michelin Guide 2020)

Nice food and great service.

Food was great and the staff were very nice and attentive :) they gave our baby an elephant for Christmas which was a very sweet gesture :)

Really nice dining experience 😋 Dishes are so delicately made (and delicious of course) and the interior design is "historical" yet elegant. You could feel the vibe from the moment you walk in. Little tip: I heard there's a dress code for dinner.

The meal was delicious! All courses were perfect, but the main course (curries and duck) was the best. The drink menu was great as well!

The meal was indulgence & the waitron was friendly as well. The restaurant’s decoration and furniture has created a very elegant and vintage Thai vibe. However, the chairs are not very comfortable, it’s either the chair was too high or the table was too low that I have to bend my back all the time. Also, they didn’t replenish their wine on the wine list in time, we were waiting for our selected white wine for almost half an hour and only then being told that was sold, and we have no other choice but only can select another bottle of reislling.

Food was so so . Service was good especially the Filipino guy take good care of us . And after paid for the drinks they didn’t give me flower and I realized most ladies will be given a flower when they leave the restaurant.

We expected a lot from Blue Elephant as it is a well known restaurant, and especially this pricing should be luxury class in Thai. We found their website reminded about dress code so we dressed up before we headed to the restaurant. When we arrived, there are customers coming in with flip flop and shorts 🤨 The food was not as tasty as we expect. The number of chilli on the menu should indicate the spicy level of dish. Unfortunately, 2 chilli is spicier than 4 chilli. The menu contains lots of variety of dishes but the taste was not as good as expect. May be because the spiciest dish came before the main course. It was nice that they prepared flowers for guests in the end.
