Whether or not you're a fan of history and politics, a visit to the border territory between North and South Korea is an eye-opening experience. You'll travel to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), a buffer between the two sides, and explore historic sites including Imjingak Park, the Freedom Bridge and the secretly dug 3rd Infiltration Tunnel. After stopping for a local lunch, you'll be escorted through the checkpoint at Panmunjom (officially known as the Joint Security Area (JSA)), a supposedly neutral zone in times of war where the two sides met. Here you'll visit Freedom House and learn about the Bridge of No Return and the Ax Murder Incident, at which point you'll be able to say you have technically entered North Korea! Even if you currently feel like you lack knowledge on the subject, you'll be an expert after taking this tour.
