Xiong Village Scenic Spot

Xiong Village, formerly known as Hong Village, has a history of over 800 years and is renowned as "the first island of Xin'an and the most magnificent village in Huizhou." The scenic area is backed by Cuiwei Mountain, faces Zhushan Mountain, with the Xin'an River flowing eastward around the village. It boasts rich historical and cultural heritage, including the Four Generations One-Rank Archway, Zhushan Academy, Ciguang Nunnery, the former site of the Sino-American Cooperation Organization, and Xiaonanhai Xingyan Temple. It is a typical Huizhou-style ancient village known for its flourishing culture and numerous famous figures.
