A really nice trip with the fast and fun carts. Safely organised by Xavier. Fantastic scenery in the bay with the mountains and the islands. Our 16 year boy enjoyed especially since he was allowed to ride on his own....
The first of its kind! The seakart ride is great fun, and safe at the same time. The safety briefing was good, the instructor was amazing, and the scenery was breath taking (just like anywhere on this beautiful island). You get your photos taken by a pro while at the sea. The seakart makes the sea rides accessible to more people, and you get to enjoy the sea in an active and participative mode rather than the passive feel of getting on a catamaran or boat with others (at least that's how we felt).
This is now the second visit, as I enjoyed is so much I had to return 2 weeks later with my 19 year old son, as I knew this would be something he had never done before and an incredible amount of fun. It is a great way to experience the west coast down to Le Morne, stopping outside the beautiful resort Paradis, where you can swim in the warm aqua clear ocean. - If you don't like swimming in deep water, don't be fooled when it looks quite shallow and you can clearly see the rocks, as it is actually between 2-5 metres deep. The instructor explained how it was impossible to over turn the boats, my son took it as a personal challenge to test the theory, taking sharp circles at full speed and I am pleased to say the theory still stands. The only draw back is the cost, but it is rather unique!
