What to expect
Join us in a hands-on cooking demonstration as we listen to the memories of the Southern Islanders foraging and preparing food for their families on the islands, and witness a live preparation of a recipe that has been passed down within the family. This hands-on cooking demonstration offers a closer look into how distinct the Southern Islander cuisine is, guided by sustainable foraging practices, and a profound knowledge of marine life. Along the way, you’ll learn about the ingredients, memories, and knowledge behind each recipe
