Phuket Day Tour : Bamboo Rafting, Elephant Bathing & Waterfall

Overall, it was okay. Bathing with elephants, the ATV ride, and bamboo rafting were quite fun. However, the car ride was steep and made me feel nauseous. The food was mediocre, and the waterfall was just so-so. Also, when I initially booked the tour, I could choose a 1:00 PM start time, but then, out of nowhere, they changed the pickup to 7:30 AM the day before. After experiencing it, I feel like there's no real choice of time, as the entire activity runs from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Offering a time selection at the beginning seemed a bit pointless.

Everything was beautiful, a complete excursion.

Unfortunately, this tour did not meet my expectations. While I didn’t mind the long travel time, many of the activities were quite different from what was advertised. The bamboo rafting was underwhelming, and the elephant bathing—the main reason I booked the tour—was disappointing. There was little guidance despite the rain, I had to wait because the elephants were being used for another activity, and no one was available to help take photos. The other stops, including the waterfall, sea turtle, and Monkey Island, just don’t let me start by how underwhelming the experience was. Overall, I left feeling disappointed and just wanted the tour to be over. I hope the organizers improve the experience and provide a more accurate description of what guests can expect. At least, have the initiative to rake photos for the very least.
