Da Xin Photo Studio | Exclusive Old Shanghai Vintage Photoshoot

This was my first time doing a studio photoshoot in a cheongsam in Shanghai. The location is at Chenghuangmiao, near entrance number 2. The studio is absolutely beautiful, with many vintage and stunning photo spots, and lots of props for photos. The staff are very efficient and helpful; some speak English and are very friendly. From the moment I arrived, I chose my outfit, had my makeup and hair done, selected shoes, proceeded with the photoshoot, and then chose the photos—all completed within 1.5 hours, so it was very time-efficient. The photos are excellent; the photographer was skilled at giving directions and knew the best angles. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my photoshoot here. I definitely want to do it again next time! 😍

First of all, they require you to book in advance at least 2 days before, but my schedule was very tight and asked Klook if they could help me to book 1 day before. The lady (I forgot to ask her name) let you try on the qipao and let you decide which you liked the most👍🏻The photographer will teach you how to pose. You will select and collect the photos on the same day which was great! They also gave me a printed photo for free as they said I was the first customer! Thank you😊

The cheongsam photo experience at Daxin Photo Studio was delightful. They have a wide and complete variety of photo props, and the photographer was very detailed in directing poses. The photo results are very satisfying 🫶♥️

When I changed my reservation time, the person who assisted me via WeChat was very kind. On the day of the appointment, I arrived earlier than my scheduled time, and they were still able to accommodate me. It's difficult to expect high levels of hygiene, and while some staff speak a little English, you'll generally need to use a translation app. The makeup and hair artists weren't particularly friendly or unfriendly, but I was satisfied with the results. When selecting photos, I noticed the Photoshop was a bit excessive, so I had to ask them to reduce it as much as possible. On the day of the shoot, you can discuss whether to take photos only indoors or also outdoors; I chose to stay indoors because it was too hot.
