Review for: From Ho Chi Minh: Mekong Delta Day Tour with Japanese Guide

Having a guide who spoke Japanese made the explanations easy to understand, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Beyond the Mekong River, it was interesting to try unique honey tea, visit a coconut candy factory, and listen to folk songs. For lunch, I even made my own fresh spring rolls, and everything, like the fish inside, was delicious and unlike anything I've tasted in Japan (๑´ڡ`๑). The morning meeting point was a bit unclear; it would have been helpful to have a card with the tour name or other details. Also, the tour finished earlier than expected, and I think it would have been even better if we had been able to visit temples or other sites.

Having a Japanese-speaking guide made our trip comfortable and reassuring, as they promptly answered all our questions. Thank you, Gan-san!

Although we had to depart at 9:30 AM instead of 8:00 AM because the earlier slot was fully booked when we made our reservation the day before, it allowed for a more relaxed morning. We didn't encounter any rain and returned earlier than expected. The transportation was smooth, and the team was flexible in accommodating our needs. It was reassuring to be with a group of Japanese travelers, and our guide, Dai, was excellent, handling everything in Japanese. Having a pickup service definitely made things easier! Thank you very much!

Review for: From Ho Chi Minh: Mekong Delta Day Tour with Japanese Guide

After traveling to the island by boat, those who wanted to take photos holding a beehive at the honey farm did so, followed by photos with snakes. The banana chips served during the tea break were delicious. Royal jelly and other products were available for sale. We then took what looked like a golf cart to a coconut candy factory, walked to a fruit and tea break where we listened to folk songs. Finally, we took a Mekong River cruise (about 10 minutes, which was less impressive than I imagined). Afterward, while traveling by boat, we were given coconut juice (it was lukewarm and not tasty) and stopped at ALLUVIA. (It's better to buy here than in the city, as you can shop more calmly). We then traveled by car to eat, and after that, it was just a trip back. There wasn't much to see. The tour guides were very friendly and explained many things. Compared to tours in other countries, this tour doesn't visit any temples, so it's not very cost-effective. I personally don't think I'll ever go to Vietnam again, regardless of the tour, but if you do come to Vietnam, you might as well join a tour, otherwise, you'll have too much free time.
