The theatre captures our penchant to take pictures and instead of prohibiting it, it is actually allowed through the phone app for the performance. It then adds value by giving you another layer of experience through the phone app--another layer of message and performance in its own right! The show is centered around a young girl and the four seasons, vividly expressed using dancing, music, acrobatics and singing. Incorporating both past and present Japanese culture, talented dancers and talented musicians, Sakura in the Box is a great show both visually and musically. Also, you don't need to know Japanese to see this and you can go both with friends or bring your whole family. I can highly recommend it!

Wow just wow. Definitely a must watch. Will do it again on my next trip

The show was very entertaining and had all the Japanese ingredients you can think of - kabuki as well as modern song and dance, anime, acrobatics, swordplay, taiko - you name it, they have it. It is ideal for visitors and you don't have to understand the language to be able to enjoy it. My only complaint is that it was too short for its price - 6000 yen for 65 minutes.

It is worth a visit to the tour, each actor is very hard to perform, not often because of the lazy, super push.
