Reviews
We were very happy and satisfied with the trip to the countryside. It was such a great experience to be going around the area in a military jeep. We learnt a lot about the lives as well as the livelihood of the Cambodians who live in the countryside. We were brought to the war museum, were shown the ‘exotic’ food that Cambodians eat as their snacks, were brought to a place where the women made bamboo rice cakes and a few other interesting places. Our tour guide, Mr Sorphea was very experienced and he also shared with us a lot about countryside life and the leaves, plants and vegetables that they often used in their cooking and everyday lives. Overall, I highly recommend this tour, especially if you come from the city and want to experience what it feels to be living in a Southeast Asian countryside.
our tour guide name is bunsom . he speak good english. we were given cooled mineralnwater & chill mini towel. he brought us to war muesum, basket weaving, buddha temple & bqmboo sticky rice.we had a good time .
Great experience with a fantastic guide. This was a wonderful way to see the countryside and gain some inside knowledge. Would definitely recommend!
My family and I had a great time with the tour guide and driver! We visited the war museum, saw how the locals make bamboo rice cakes and weave rattan items. Riding in the open air jeep & touring the country side was a great experience for city dwellers like us ! Definitely worth the value and time!
Driver was on time and the tour guide was good. Because we were there during the dry season, the tour guide offered us two options - the first was a more dusty route and the second was less dusty. We decided to go for the less dusty option and still enjoyed the tour. Recommended!
Great experience going away from the downtown area to see more of the country side and how the locals live. We had a great time and it was smooth and easy. Enjoyable for a half day tour.
We had a fantastic day. Our guide was amazing and full of knowledge and great English. Thank you so much for a wonderful day
Most exciting tour in my opinion. I loved the war museum tour especially. We got to learn about the history of siem reap and the war period. The guides let us hold some of the weapons on display too. The bamboo rice was delicious.
This was a great way to see the real Cambodia! After a couple days in temples and city markets, it was so relaxing to be in the countryside and see how Cambodians live. We had five stops; War Museum, Making Sticky Rice in someone’s home, went to a rural temple and beautiful lake, visited a basket weavers, and ate crickets! My kids loved the jeeps and the bugs and all the animals we saw, as well as the hands on activities. Mr. Lee took great care of us and taught us a lot.
Mr Thanut greeted us at the hotel punctually. We love that he told us a brief introduction of what we will expect later before the tour. Mr Thanut is also very nice to my 5 year old son. Mr Thanut is very knowledgeable, friendly and informative throughout the tour. Mr Thanut is also very helpful. Along the way during the trip, two Cambodian boys met with a little motorbike accident, he did not hesitate to get the first aid kit for the boys to clean up the wounds. We are very impressed with a all-rounder tour guide! We also left some of the items that we bought during the tour and Mr Thanut left it at the hotel reception for us. By the end of the tour we left with lots of knowledge regarding Siem Reap’s history, culture and lifestyle. Mr Thanut and this trip will be etched out in our memories forever. Thank you!
