Our guide, Mr. Coconut, who took us from Bangkok to Ayutthaya and back, highlighted key points throughout the journey, allowing us to understand Thailand's politics, history, architecture, and culture at a glance. He also provided detailed explanations of what to look out for at each tourist spot. Since it was a small-group day tour, he took such care to take photos of each person at the main spots! Even with the hot weather and a physically demanding itinerary, he led the tour wonderfully, maintaining a warm and cheerful demeanor, and took so many photos for us. He mentioned that this is the charm of small groups, and he even spent extra time guiding us, accommodating each member's individual schedule. Although it might be a challenging itinerary, I believe a day tour like this would be an unforgettable experience. The guide is very passionate about his explanations, so if you prefer to explore on your own, it might be best to mention this beforehand. However, after repeatedly listening to his explanations, I developed an eye for what to look for at major Thai tourist attractions. Now I know that Ayutthaya was the former capital of Thailand. I also know that despite a long war with Myanmar, they maintain friendly relations rooted in the spirit of Buddhism. He is fluent in English, so English speakers should have no difficulty during the tour. He also provided plenty of bottled water, and during small group transfers, you can use the mobile phone charging port. He even prepared a long skirt for me, free of charge, in case my dress skirt was deemed inappropriate for entry to the Summer Palace or temples with strict dress codes. As a side note, the Summer Palace is quite large, so if you want to conserve energy, you can pay an additional 500 baht, and the guide will personally drive a golf cart for you. This was very helpful for me. Thank you for providing such unforgettable memories! Thanks to the wonderful memories with our guide, I will definitely visit Phuket and Chiang Mai next time!
