What to expect
Make your own Makgeolli in Jeju and discover Korean traditional liquor culture in a fun and easy way. In this hands-on experience, you will learn the basics of Makgeolli brewing and create your own batch using a simple, beginner-friendly method with instant rice and nuruk. No prior experience is needed.
After brewing, customize your bottle with a label and take home a unique souvenir. You will also enjoy a tasting of three Korean traditional liquors.
The experience lasts about 60 minutes with a minimum of two participants. It includes an introduction, brewing session, label customization, and tasting.
All ingredients, a fermentation container, and a recipe guide are provided. Alcohol tasting is not available for minors, and Makgeolli requires fermentation time before drinking.

I highly recommend this, as same-day reservations are possible! It was a lot of fun, and a Japanese interpreter assisted us. However, please be aware that if you have two take-home containers, they will take up about a quarter of the carry-on size for an LCC flight, and you won't be able to bring them back unless you check them as luggage. As mentioned in other reviews, the pickup location sent via email was incorrect; the correct location is the actual store. It's located off a side street from the bus stop, next to a hotel.
The address is wrong on the confirmation voucher. information was very misleading..managed to locate the place next door. Host told us that they did not get any notice from Kool but they were alright to proceed with the event
