Reviews
Highly recommend this day cruise if you want to maximize your time and see three gorgeous islands without any stress. The ship was wonderful, the food was tasty, and the entertainment on the return journey was a great touch. Hydra, Poros, and Aegina are all incredibly unique and beautiful. It’s a busy day with a lot of sailing, but it is entirely worth it to see three islands so easily. Don't forget to buy the local pistachio ice cream in Aegina! There wasn't much briefing on the itinerary during bus pickup but I am glad the cruise team did explain it after we left.
I joined a cruise tour with hotel pickup that visited Hydra, Poros, and Aegina in that order. The cruise ship was a luxurious, three-story vessel. After touring Hydra, there was a buffet-style lunch. The stay on each island was about 1 to 1.5 hours. About half the time was spent traveling from island to island. It was quite hot on the roof deck, but it was enjoyable with the musical performances. It was a satisfying day.
I did the Poros–Hydra–Aegina day cruise and overall it was a fun experience 😊 We couldn’t go to Hydra because of the weather, which was a bit disappointing since I was really looking forward to it. But still, I enjoyed the trip a lot! The views were beautiful, and the islands we visited were nice and relaxing. There was also great entertainment on board .. fun dancing and good music, which made the whole vibe really enjoyable. The food was okay, just not many options, so that could be better. Even without Hydra, it was still a nice day out and worth it!
🚤 Island Hopping from Athens: You Gotta Visit Poros, Aegina & Hydra! If you're in Athens, do yourself a favor and check out these three amazing islands. They're super close, but each has its own vibe. Seriously, you won't regret it! 🏝️ Poros - Only an hour away by ferry - Super chill with cute little beaches and a picture-perfect town - Great if you just want to relax for a day 🏛️ Aegina - Closest island at just 40 minutes by boat - Famous for its killer pistachios and cool ancient ruins - Perfect mix of history and beach time 💎 Hydra - No cars allowed—just donkeys and stone paths - Fancy but in a cool, old-school way - Takes about 2 hours to get there, but it's so worth it ❗️ The trip was worth it and relaxing—a must-do when you’re in Athens! P.S. Hydra was my favorite. It’s a small island, but absolutely gorgeous. 🫶🏼
I chose the cruise without transfer and was worried that I might not be able to find the place, but it was actually easy to find. The gate security staff knew that we were there for the cruise. During the cruise, a lunch buffet is provided. Drinks and breakfast need to be purchased separately. The price is only for the cruise and does not include a tour guide. If you want a tour guide, you have to pay extra. around 40 euro per person. In Hydra, the tour is a walking tour. In Aegina, there are two tour options: one is an archaeology site and temple tour, and the other is a panoramic view tour. If you choose the panoramic tour, it includes an evening snack buffet. ( need to improve buffet service as they provide the food was too little and limited) Overall, the tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, and we enjoyed the tour. However, the time spent on each island was quite short. If we had a few more hours, it would not have felt so rushed.
The tour was well organized overall, and everything went smoothly. However, the optional activities on the islands could have been explained more clearly. We wanted to swim in Aegina, but we were advised against it. We later found out there was a free swimming spot just a short walk from the port, which would have been nice to know. Better guidance on the available options would make the experience even better.
The three islands were amazing to visit , had a lovely time stopping at each island. The only issue I had was the additional charges above the amount we had already paid for the cruise to have a comfortable experience on the cruise.
The itinerary was well-planned, full, and smooth. The attractions were wonderful, the pace was comfortable, and the tour guide was thoughtful and professional, making our day trip enjoyable and unforgettable.
This cruise deserved a 10/10 thumbs up because of how organized and how friendly the whole staff are. 4 staff members worth mentioning who made our trip fun and exciting. Ronel, who lend us his own playing cards so that my kids and I can enjoy some games while cruising to our next port. The DJ who even played some music from our country after he knew where we came from. Our tour guide, Georgia who made our tour exciting and fun because of her bubbly personality and humor. And those Greek dancers who are so good in showing us different types of Greek dances made the last hour of our trip more enjoyable. All in all, this cruise is all worth it. An experience you will always remember.
