Lucerne Boat Cruise and Burgenstock Funicular Partially Guided Tour

It takes about an hour and a half to walk back and forth to Hammetschwand Lift. If you go, you may pay attention to the time of the cable car going down the mountain. (The cable car runs every hour.) There are few shelters on the mountain. You may need to pay attention to the sun when you go at noon. The hotel and restaurant on the mountain are not cheap, but they have the best view of the lake area. It is suitable for traveling with elders. The Dying Lion is currently under partial renovation.

This day tour is highly recommended. The scenic spots visited are incredibly beautiful, and the overall cost-effectiveness of the tour is excellent. Another highlight is the convenient meeting point, and the tour guide's thorough explanations saved us a lot of hassle trying to find transportation on our own.

In this itinerary, there is a cruise ship. The cruise ship is very special. The scenery on both sides of the river is beautiful. There is also a cable car up the mountain to play, and the scenery on the mountain is even more beautiful!

This is a good day tour to Lucerne and Bürgenstock from Zurich. it is not entirely a guided tour but you will have enough time to explore the area on your own. the boat ride to Burgenstock is lovely and the view of the mountain is amazing. This tour is overall a good one if you have limited time to see Lucerne in a day.

Honestly, if you mean to just visit the town of Lucerne, just take the train from Zurich. It’s cheaper and you aren’t constrained by the time set by the tour. We got on the bus and we were dropped off in Lucerne to be on our own from 11 am to 5 pm. The only pro about this tour is that you can opt for the boat and funicular inclusive option, which I think saves time and money compared to buying the tickets in person. Otherwise, just go take the train.

unable to see much of Burkenstock resort due to foggy weather. this includes the hammetschwand lift which you have to pay extra

Terrible! They made the tour group wait for the bus in the freezing cold for half an hour, but sent a message claiming there was traffic. In reality, they had already picked up another group, and as a result, our group that was waiting barely had any seats left on the bus.
