Reviews
I absolutely loved the interactive tour! It was super engaging, especially the visit to the war remnants museum. The tour guide was fantastic too! Highly recommend it!
I joined the Half Day Tour and it was such a memorable experience. It was both informative and enjoyable. Our guide, Patrick (hope I spelled that right!), was warm, engaging, and very knowledgeable. He was also attentive to the group. The route took us from the Independence Palace, to the Post Office — where I even sent a postcard to myself back home — and then to the War Remnants Museum. Each stop offered something unique. The highlight for me was the museum, which left me feeling heavy and emotional as I reflected on the events of the past. It was sobering but also meaningful, giving me a deeper appreciation of the resilience of the Vietnamese people. I really appreciated how the pacing was just right. There was enough time to explore, take photos, and absorb everything without ever feeling rushed. Patrick’s passion and friendliness added so much to the experience, and it felt more like walking through the city with a knowledgeable friend than just a tour guide.
If you’re in Vietnam, make sure to check out these four incredible places: Post Office, Cathedral, Independence Palace, and the War Museum. Each stop offers its own unique vibe, and our experience was nothing short of amazing! The Post Office was a delightful step back in time, exuding the charm of colonial architecture. Watching people post cards to their loved ones was such a wholesome moment—it felt like being part of a timeless tradition. The Cathedral was unfortunately closed for repairs, but even from the outside, its grandeur was captivating. It left us curious and eager to return once it’s fully restored. The Independence Palace was a deep dive into history. Listening to the stories and learning about its significance was truly fascinating. It’s a place that makes you appreciate how far things have come. And then came the highlight: the War Museum. The pictures here were powerful, thought-provoking, and, at times, heart-wrenching. Learning about Agent Orange was especially impactful—it was painful yet necessary to see. The museum left us with a profound understanding of the resilience of the human spirit. Our guide - Kevin, truly elevated the experience. He was patient, professional, and added a touch of humor, making the tour both informative and fun. It’s not every day you find someone who can balance history lessons with lighthearted moments so seamlessly. In short, this tour was an unforgettable journey through Vietnam’s history and culture. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore with a great guide by their side!
I truly appreciate my tour guide’s effort as well as my tour group mates when they waited for me becuase I was late at about 15-20 minutes from the tour start time. My hotel was a little bit far from the meet-up place and the grab driver wasn’t that fast as he drove me off to the meet-up place. The tour around the city was grea, memorable and was worth the price. We visited the War Remnants Museum, Independence Palace, Saigon Post Office and lastly, I just took a picture outside the Notre Dame Parish/Church becuase it is currently under renovation. This is definitely recommended for first time visitors like me. ai had a touch of Vietnam’s past history and at the same time enjoy touring around the city as well.
The Saigon half-day city tour was a fantastic experience, offering a well-balanced mix of history, culture, and local life. The guide was knowledgeable and engaging, providing insightful stories about key landmarks like the War Remnants Museum, Independent palace , and the Central Post Office. The pace was just right—efficient yet not rushed. The transportation was comfortable, and the itinerary covered major highlights within a short time. It’s an excellent choice for those with limited time in Ho Chi Minh City. Overall, a highly recommended tour for a quick yet immersive introduction to the city’s rich history and vibrant atmosphere.
My tour guide Duy is nice and guided us to Post Office first, followed by Independence palace, War memorial. As our group has only 7 pax, it was well managed and everyone had good photos taken by Duy.
This half day tour is a must when you are visiting Saigon, if you want to learn more about the history. Our tour guide, Ms. Sunny, is a very professional and joyful guide! She has a very cheerful attitude and also very knowledgeable about the tour. We learned a lot from her even though this tour is only half day. I can recommend this tour for everyone that are looking to learn more about Vietnam!
We had a great 1st day at Ho Chi Minh City because of this tour — Twin, our guide, was the best we could ask for. we were very tired due to our early morning flight but Twin was such a great story teller and had a lot of energy for all of us that we made it through. We were picked up at our airbnb and were dropped off at Saigon Centre as we requested. It was very hot during our tour time so for future tourists just dress accordingly 😁 we also got free water bottles during the tour. would definitely recommend this for first-timers!
Our tour guide Leo is so kind. The architecture of each spots is excellent. We learned so much at the War remnants museum.
