How to get there
- By bus: From the Hakata Bus Terminal's 1st floor, Counter 5 or 6. Take the Nishitetsu Bus, which is a 25-minute ride. Head to the Nishitetsu Tenjin Expressway Bus Terminal, ride the Nishitetsu bus, and go to counter 1A. This is a 20-minute ride. You can also take the Hakubutsukan Kitaguchi, Fukuoka Tower Minaniguchi, or Hakubutsukan Minaniguchi, then get down at Fukuoka Tower (TNC Hoso Kaikan). Walk for 5 minutes
- By train: Take the Kūkō Line (Fukuoka City Subway) to Nishijin Station Exit 1, then walk for 20 minutes (about 1,700m)

Although the lottery reservation system two weeks in advance made me think this place would be packed, I found upon arrival that the crowd control was excellent. There was no pressure from long queues, making for a very comfortable visiting experience.
While Fukuoka Tower may not be the tallest building we've ever conquered, the panoramic views from this glass tower are truly on par with any famous landmark. The sunlight glinting off the distant ocean, city buildings, and elevated bridges, combined with the lush greenery nearby and stunning cumulonimbus clouds, offers a breathtaking vista of the entire city of Fukuoka, which is truly refreshing.
Visiting the tallest building in every new city is a travel tradition my child and I have always maintained. Watching him excitedly stride across the floor in front of the massive floor-to-ceiling windows at Fukuoka Tower, I felt this habit added another wonderful parent-child memory.
If you're planning a trip to Fukuoka, I highly recommend adding Fukuoka Tower to your itinerary. Remember to make your reservation online in advance (it's a lottery system); good views are worth waiting for and even more worth experiencing in person.

This was my second time to see the beauty of Fukuoka from Fukuoka tower perspective. It was still amazing and not crowded compared to Tokyo tower or Skytree. The tower is just across momochi seaside park so we enjoyed the sunset view by the beach. It was easy to exchange the voucher to physical ticket. Besides, ticket was not expensive so might as well include this in your Fukuoka itinerary. It was a beautiful weather when we were there so the sky was blue and the ocean was shimmering because of the bright sun reflections. We loved the experience. Highly recommended!

We waited about 40 minutes to get up to the tower, but it worth it. The view was magnificent, you can see the beautiful sea and landscape. Wish they could find a faster way to enter the tower. We even had to wait to the elevator when went down about 25 minutes. We almost late our restaurant reservation.

Visiting Fukuoka Tower was one of the highlights of my trip to Fukuoka. The admission process was smooth and easy, and the staff were very organized and helpful.
Once at the observation deck, the panoramic view was absolutely stunning. You can see the whole city skyline, Hakata Bay, and even the coastline. It’s especially beautiful during sunset and at night when the city lights start to glow.
The tower itself is very clean and well maintained, and there are nice spots inside where you can take photos and enjoy the scenery. It’s a relaxing place to just admire the view and appreciate how beautiful Fukuoka is from above.
Overall, the Fukuoka Tower admission ticket is definitely worth it. I highly recommend visiting if you’re in Fukuoka and want to see the city from a different perspective. A great experience and perfect for photos!

Very easy to use, just exchange with the physical ticket at counter and you are ready to go. Personally I love Fukuoka Tower a lot as there are lots of interesting things other than the sea and city view. Recommended to go!

Booking through Klook was a breeze. We just showed our QR code at the counter and swapped it for physical tickets in seconds—much faster than waiting in the regular queue!
The tower itself is stunning, especially the "triangular" architecture. We went just before sunset, and seeing the city lights meet the Hakata Bay coastline was a highlight of our trip. There are plenty of Instagrammable spots inside (especially the "Lover’s Sanctuary" and the glow-in-the-dark floor). It’s a must-visit to get your bearings of the city. Highly recommend grabbing tickets here to save time!
