Email by tour guide was sent one day before departure informing time of pick up. Picked up by the guide with small bus from old Hanoi quarter around 6.40am then switch bus after picking everyone up. Depart from Hanoi around 8am to Sapa Town. Took about 6hours. On arrival to Sapa town, the driver drop us at hotel, and after we took our lunch, we started our first trekking from Lao chai to Ta Van with the lovely and friendly black H’mong girl whom guide us the way and explained to us each minority ethnic’s cultures. It was an easy trekking it took about 2-2.30 hours to get to our homestay, Ta Van Ecological Homestay. When we reached the homestay, they served us apple cinnamon tea as welcoming tea. It’s tasty 😋 I thought we were supposed to sleep with the strangers, yet they offer us single room for free. The dinner was super tasty, they do serve grill salmon, teriyaki chicken, some veggies, fried Vietnam spring roll and deserts. Then we can have our own sweet time spending with the other trekkers. The next morning, after our breakfast, we started our 2nd trekking around 9-9.30am to cat cat village and the waterfall. The journey was super tough, as the way was so muddy and slippery, thanks for the local lady whom helped me along the way, although at the end they were trying to sell us stuffs or asking for some tips of minimal 40,000vnd = 2usd, I was absolutely done with it. After about 3.30-4 hours trekking, we then headed back to Sapa town to have our lunch. The hotel do offer us a room to shower for free. Overall, it was an awesome experience. The mesmerizing scenery will definitely worth for hard work and the mud we get.

The experience with klook with sapa was awesome. I didn't expect to hop on, on the sleeping bus. It was a comfy and save journey to sapa. About 5.5hrs from Hanoi city-old quarter to sapa. Sapa is beautiful and stunning! The place we stay was at vista Hotel! The location where we stay has a beautiful nice view of the mountains. The trekking was fun and tiring. The day I trek was raining, its muddy and rocky. Nice tribes lady. However, they expect you to buy some gift from there after the trekking. Otherwise, great experience! The one I choose is cat cat Village! Awesome!

Great time on the Sapa tour! Got picked up by a nice bus with A/C and USB charging ports for an easy 6-7 hour drive to Sapa. A bit foggy on our trip but walking through the terraces and the village were a great experience, capped off by a wonderful stay at Hoa's Homestay

The journey to and from sapa was quite exhausting. Sat on a normal coach there and a sleeper coach back. The space on both kind of buses is pretty squeezy, not recommended if you’re bigger in size. Our 2d1n itinerary was the opposite of what is stated here in klook. We did the Cat Cat village tour on the first day, and the Lao Chai/Tavan trekking on the 2nd. The trekking was thrilling but very tiring - one wrong step and you may roll down the hill and get seriously injured. Not easy with the muddy, wet and slippery terrain. Word of advise - RENT THE BOOTS!This is the first time I’m on a holiday and regretted not buying travel insurance - that’s how afraid I was during the trekking. Luckily we emerged safe and sound. As for the hotel, just a normal 3-star hotel with normal food provided.

Was given the wrong package upon arrival, currently awaiting for status update. Was given “Ta Van Village + Bamboo Forest” tour instead of the “Cat Cat + Ham Rong Mountain” tour. Nevertheless, i decided to give a 4 stars rating as the tour itself wasn’t that bad. The sceneries there are amazing but the best season to visit Sa Pa is still around August period where you see more greens and almost-to-be-ready for cultivation rice paddies. Breakfast/Dinner at the homestay was pretty decent but the lunch when we first reached Sa Pa was below expectations.

Our tour guide is quite helpful. First day we experienced bus break down in the middle of highway. Tour guide try her best to arrange another bus but she was told that the bus was mostly full. We waited around 2 hours plus for another bus to come to fetch us. The bus is a lying bus which provide long seat that everyone must lie down. Although we cannot carry out our first day activities (as we already behind the schedule), at least I have a different experience on the lying bus. We reached Sapa around 4pm so our first day schedule will be move to second day. After our late lunch, we then checked in out homestay. The surrounding of homestay is nice and can see some beautiful scenery. We also met a lot of traveler from different countries at the homestay. We started our second day activities quite early. We used around 2 and a half hours to finish our trekking. After that, we traveled to Cat Cat village by a van then we walked around for another 3 hours. After lunch at the hotel, we then depart back to hanoi at around 2.30. Overall it was a nice experience, and I think that 3D2N should be better as this trip does not include visitation to the Fansipan mountain.

SaPa is beautiful as described by most online. Our tour guide is friendly but the only disappointing part is that she did not try to help us communicate nor convey that we are not keen in buying so many items from the H’Mong ladies (there were 3 who followed us on the trek and they forced us to buy an item each from them, at double the prices of normal vendor). Besides that, the journey from Hanoi and to SaPa in the shuttle bus was comfortable with USB charging port. Took the homestay option, though not the cleanest but it is decent. View from homestay was amazing as well as the dinner and breakfast (before check-out) was great!
