What to expect

1.Traditional Japanese Home Cooking The experience begins with collecting water from a local spring, known by locals as “miracle water” for its purity and health benefits. Next, guests visit a nearby vegetable patch and shiitake mushroom shed to gather fresh ingredients for the sukiyaki. Back at the inn, you will help with every step of the meal. Split wood and cook rice the old-fashioned way over a wood-fueled kamado stove.

2.The Rare Matsusaka Beef The highlight of the evening is the rare Matsusaka beef. With only 2,500 cattle available each year, this prized wagyu features tender marbled meat that melts in your mouth and delivers a deep, rich flavor.
