Oslob Whale Shark Snorkeling with Sardines & Turtles Tour in Cebu

# Almost took the wrong car, but accidentally ended up on an ocean adventure in Cebu with the "God of Driving"! This was a private tour, but the story started off with quite a plot twist: I only confirmed the driver's name, didn't check the license plate at all, and just got into the car naturally. It wasn't until about 5 minutes after departure that I realized—wait, this doesn't look like our car! Fortunately, we noticed in time, turned right back, and weren't driven off into an entirely different life journey (laughs). When we finally got into the right car, the driver's skills were on par with the "God of Driving of Cebu." The whole way felt like riding in an AE86—fast yet incredibly smooth—and that little scare was instantly thrown to the back of our minds. We drew ticket number 6 for the whale sharks. Because we were delayed by about 10 minutes earlier, I couldn't help daydreaming: if we hadn't gotten into the wrong car, could we have gotten ticket number 1? Still, seeing the whale sharks up close was breathtaking, and this little detour actually made the trip even more memorable. Next, we headed to Tumalog Falls, and we actually got to ride local motorcycles up and down the mountain! Rushing against the wind and weaving through the mountain roads felt much more authentic than a standard shuttle, making for a fun and very unique experience. After that came the sardine storm and swimming with sea turtles. The underwater scenery was so stunning that it was hard to tear ourselves away to surface. Renting a GoPro is a must! The boat crew will help take pictures, practically putting together an underwater photo book for you. When viewing the sardine storm, if you have your own snorkeling mask and fins, we recommend bringing them. The money saved on rentals can go toward renting a GoPro, and you won't have to use a snorkel that someone else has bitten on, making the experience more comfortable and hygienic. All in all, this was a trip full of surprises, laughs, and touching ocean moments. From the whale sharks and Kawasan Falls to the sardine storm and swimming with sea turtles, every single part of it was worth it. If you love the ocean, you should really come and experience it for yourself!

Sir Mark of McRich is easy to talk to. Kuya Marlon was our driver. He. arrived 30 minutes earlier. Smooth driving, not too slow, not too fast. Unfortunately, we didnt see the whaleshark nor embark on a boat. Sir Mark advised that they will process partial refund. We will wait for that. then we went to Tumalog falls, had our lunch then went to Moalboal. all our guides were professional and funny. we had so much fun. this tour is worth it even though we were sad that our Russian guests didnt encounter any whalesharks(((

This was a really nice experience. We booked the private tour which I recommend, so that you don’t need to wait for a lot of people. Our driver was very punctual and arrived slightly before agreed time, so we could start our journey as planned. We arrived to Oslob at 4:30 and were 98th on the queue for whale shark watching, so had 2-3 hours of waiting ahead of us. Durimg this time we had a breakfast at the local cafe, not the best, but ok. Getting on the boat was a bit messy because of lots of people, but the guide took good care of us and made sure we are seated. Snorkeling with whale sharks is limited by time and you need to swim next to your boat only, but this is fine, half an hour is enough to see them. Beautiful and really unique experience. The waterfall is also beautiful, but I understand the frustration of those who missed the opportunity to see the sharks because of the weather. Swimming with the school of fish is also impressive. I recommend this tour!

This was one of the best experiences of my Cebu trip! Seeing the whale sharks up close was absolutely unforgettable. The sardine run and turtle snorkeling were also incredible. The guides were friendly, helpful, and always made safety a priority. Everything was well organized, and I felt comfortable throughout the tour. It was a long day with an early start, but completely worth it. I highly recommend this tour, especially for solo travelers who love adventure and marine life!

Very early start but absolutely a bucket list trip. It is very humbling swimming alongside the gentle giants. Highly recommend to rent the go pro to capture your memories. The guides do an amazing job videoing the wildlife and your experience. we very much enjoyed having a private tour.

Even though we have to leave in the early morning, we can just sleep in the car! The tour guides for each itinerary were very professional, and I highly recommend renting a GoPro—it's really worth it!

Observing whale sharks, sardines, and sea turtles was truly a once-in-a-lifetime tour and created wonderful memories. If you come to Cebu, I highly recommend seeing them. However, there's some room for improvement in terms of service. The driver only drove, and when we arrived at our destinations, we didn't know what to do, and there were no explanations or guidance. It would have been helpful to have information boards or warnings at the tourist spots. My family got lost quite a bit at each attraction. The driver drove a bit fast, but he always greeted us with a smile, and thanks to him, we returned safely.
