What to expect
Today, we will travel through Kyoto and Nara's three most famous attractions: Arashiyama, Nara Park, and Fushimi Inari Shrine. Whether it's spring cherry blossoms, summer greenery, autumn foliage, or winter snow, every moment here is unforgettable.
Arashiyama: (Approximately 150 minutes stay, lunch available here) Stroll through the world-renowned bamboo grove path and embark on a healing “forest bath.” Look up at the fragmented golden light filtering through the leaves, and listen to the rustling of bamboo leaves as the breeze passes. If you’re lucky, you might even encounter street performers playing the handpan, with its soulful sounds echoing through the bamboo forest. This visual and auditory feast will be the most unforgettable relaxing moment of your trip.
Nara: (Approximately 70 minutes stay) Arrive in this city that regards deer as sacred guardians. Within the vast Nara Park, thousands of wild deer are freely enjoying their time. Buy some special deer crackers, learn the local etiquette, and gently bow to greet the deer! When they gently nod back in return, that cross-species dialogue is the most tender intertwining of history and nature. If you have enough time, don’t forget to venture towards Todai-ji Temple or Mount Wakakusa to capture more lively figures!
Fushimi Inari: (Approximately 90 minutes stay) As dusk falls, the setting sun pierces through the endless vermilion torii gates, casting a solemn golden veil over this mysterious realm. Each torii gate carries the prayers and gratitude of people. Let’s step into this visually stunning red tunnel and quietly feel the sacred and peaceful atmosphere. In the quiet moments after the crowds disperse, take a photo with the Senbon Torii (Thousand Torii Gates) to record this beautiful journey.

Reviews
i would like to love this tour, but our tour guide wasn’t very fluent in English, but he did try his best; He explains instructions well, as much as he can say. Overall, our family of 7 enjoyed this tour. it was just so overly crowded, because it was Sakura season. but it’s all good. For me, it was best not to buy the deer crackers since they become very aggressive when they see you hold some. the deer were just trying to get our attention when we’re not holding any crackers at all.
Gave plenty of time for tourists. I am currently pregnant but the pacing is okay for me. Thanks Coco for guidance!
it was chaotic to locate bus in the beginning. we have ample time to explore Arashiyama but limited time in Fushimi Inari. Overall, it was relaxing to ride in bus, compared to looking for train station on your own.
I thought this tour was great for people who like to wander on their own and need a ride to popular tourist places. This fit my party of five! The most convenient thing was being able to travel with the bus! We didn’t have to worry about how to get places! On the other hand, the tour guide doesn’t walk with you, so not a great tour for people looking to learn more information on the place they are visiting.
Thanks to our tour guide Joe. He made us feel comfortable during the day trip and was very patient and attentive to our needs. The tour was perfectly organized, gave us best suggestion how we can maximize our day trip. We hope to see him again soon!
Hua Hua, our tour guide is accommodating and he took pictures of me because I'm alone. He's the best tour guide since I visited Japan. I don't have picture of him because I respect his privacy. He's 10/10 for me.
A fantastic tour covering the three main tourist locations in and around Kyoto. our tour guide was very knowledgeable, patient and provided us with lots of practical tips and recommendations.
Chacha was a very kind and helpful guide.
